LOUISVILLE, Ky. (AP) _ Frank Moreau rushed for 129 yards and three touchdowns and Chris Redman threw for two scores as Louisville beat Eastern Michigan 45-10 Saturday night.

Moreau, eighth nationally in rushing at 150.5 yards per game, carried 22 times and caught six passes for 51 yards. He scored on runs of 1, 1 and 38 yards.

Redman was 24-of-31 for 259 yards, including TDs of 4 and 9 yards, as the Cardinals (3-2) racked up 279 passing yards to Eastern Michigan's 83.

Eric Powell rushed 21 times for 95 yards to lead the Eagles (1-3). Walter Church completed 14-of-27 passes, with one interception.

Louisville, which surrendered an average of 449 yards in its first four games, held Eastern Michigan to 165.

David Taylor's 10-yard interception return gave Eastern Michigan a 7-0 lead. The Cardinals responded with 28 unanswered points.

In the first half, tight end Ibn Green became the Cardinals' career leader in receptions and receiving yards. He came into the game needing three catches and 11 yards to break Miguel Montano's career marks of 175 and 2,305.

He got the yardage record with a 24-yard catch late in the first quarter and the receptions mark with a 9-yard catch late in the second quarter. Green, who had five catches for 52 yards, has 178 catches and 2,351 yards.

Redman completed 16-of-20 first-half passes for 181 yards and two TDs. Moreau added 86 yards on the ground and a two 1-yard scores for a 28-7 halftime lead.

Moreau scored on a 38-yard run on his first carry of the second half and Eric Lockhart scored his first career touchdown on a 6-yard run late in the quarter to give the Cardinals a 42-7 lead.
