BOSTON (AP) _ Erich Kutschke kicked a 33-yard field goal on the final play of the game on Saturday and Colgate, which blew a 14-point, fourth-quarter lead, held on to beat Harvard 24-21. Ryan Vena completed a 17-yard pass to Tom Morin to give Colgate (4-1) a first down at the Harvard 21 and set up the winning score. Harvard (2-1) tied the game at 21 when Terrence Patterson threw a 33-yard touchdown pass to Kyle Cremerosa with 1:24 left. Randall Joseph ran for 210 yards and two touchdowns for Colgate. Vena completed 17 of his 30 passes for the Red Raiders, but also threw three interceptions. Brad Wilford was 9-for-17 passing and also ran for a touchdown. But he was intercepted twice in the second half _ both times leading to Colgate touchdowns. Joseph ran for 56 yards to give Colgate a 7-0 lead with 6:56 left in the second period. Chris Menick scored on a 15-yard run to tie the score. Colgate's Tom McCarroll picked off his second pass, at the Harvard 39, to set up Joseph's second touchdown and give Colgate a 21-7 lead with 1:55 remaining in the third quarter. Wilford's 1-yard dash with 5:32 left in the game cut the Red Raider lead to 21-14.
