BATON ROUGE, La. (AP) _ Southern University Coach Pete Richardson got his 100th career victory Saturday as Troy Williams threw for two touchdowns and ran for another in a 42-0 win over Prairie View.

Richardson downplayed the impact of the win after the game.

``It's not really that big of a deal,'' he said. ``I've accomplished a lot in my career and this is just another thing along the way.''

The Jaguars (3-0, 2-0 SWAC) had a 14-0 lead by the end of the first quarter, then broke out with 28 more points against the Panthers (1-2, 0-2 SWAC) in the fourth quarter.

Williams completed 12 of 25 passes for 166 yards and three touchdowns. Ryan Lewis led Southern in rushing with 23 carries for 90 yards. Dain Lewis had six carries for 34 yards and two touchdowns.

Haywood Gallien, who had five receptions for 103 yards, started the Jaguars' fourth quarter surge with a 35-yard scoring pass from Williams, giving Southern a 21-0 lead.

Following an interception by Jaguars' Sean Overton, Ryan Lewis ran eight yards to increase the margin to 28-0. Dain Lewis then ran 18 yards and five yards for the final touchdowns of the game.
