SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (AP) _ Jason Ringena ran for two touchdowns and Jay Rodgers passed for two as Southwest Missouri State beat Henderson State 50-3 on Saturday.

Ringena scored the first two touchdowns, running in from 20 yards out in the first quarter and adding a 1-yarder in the second.

Rodgers threw a 24-yard TD pass to Jeff Hewitt and Beno Gore ran 14 yards for a touchdown as Southwest Missouri State (2-1) led 26-0 at halftime.

Travis Brawner missed the conversion kick after the first touchdown to end his school-record streak at 51 in a row. Brawner came back to boot five extra points and also add a 38-yard field goal.

Henderson State (0-3) got its only points on a 31-yard field goal by Zack Elbert in the third quarter. Henderson State suffered from poor field position most of the game.
