NORMAL, Ill. (AP) _ Kevin Glenn passed for 204 yards and two touchdowns Saturday night in leading Illinois State to a 55-7 trouncing of Southeast Missouri. Aveion Cason had 116 yards rushing and three TDs for the Redbirds (2-0), who were ranked No. 5 in the latest I-AA poll. Sophomore Walter James added two rushing TDs. The Indians, who opened the season last week with a loss at home to Southern Illinois, have been outscored 98-32 in opening the season 0-2. Three SE Missouri quarterbacks combined for 203 yards, while the Indians were held to 60 yards on the ground. Illinois State led 38-0 at halftime and were up 55-0 before the Indians finally scored on a 2-yard pass from Mike Gross to Jerl Huling, with 51 seconds left. Glenn, who was 18-of-26 passing, surpassed John Coppens to become the school's career total offense leader with 5,884 yards. Coppens played from 1981-84.
