This week's games to watch

Friday
Penn at Yale: The Quakers have slipped and are now in a must-win situation on the road at Yale and then Saturday at Brown. The Bulldogs are trying to keep pace with Princeton, Brown and Harvard.

Saturday
Princeton at Yale: Depending on what happens at Brown Friday, the Tigers could be playing to hold onto first place. Yale hasn't had as big a weekend in New Haven in years.

Hawaii at Louisiana Tech: The Rainbow Warriors could be desperately trying to hold onto first or could be in position to create distance with Tulsa by sweeping a tough road swing.

Alabama at Mississippi State: These two coaches have been going at it in recruiting for a few seasons and this could get nasty if the game is tight. Mississippi State desperately needs this win to add legitimacy to its candidacy for the tournament.

Arkansas at Ole Miss: Ole Miss won at Arkansas and the Razorbacks can't afford to get swept by the Rebels if they want to finish in second in the SEC West. Getting a split would certainly help their NCAA case.

Cincinnati at Wake Forest (ABC, noon ET): The Bearcats could be reeling or on a high depending on what happens at Charlotte earlier in the week. Wake Forest will want to run with the Bearcats and Skip Prosser knows this team well after coaching at Xavier prior to Wake Forest.

Ball State at Ohio: The Bobcats get their second crack at a MAC elite team. If they win, the Cardinals could be looking at eight losses overall, a dangerous number as the Cardinals try to ensure they get an at-large berth (if they don't win the MAC tournament).

Georgetown at Notre Dame: The Hoyas are on the bubble and need to push Notre Dame off it with a win on the road. Both teams are scrapping for a spot out of the Big East.

Texas Tech at Kansas: This will be Bob Knight's first experience at Texas Tech at the loudest arena in the league. The Jayhawk fans will likely be relentless on Knight and the Red Raiders.

Minnesota at Iowa: Once again, this is the kind of game the Gophers need to win to show they're a tournament team. Iowa might be in desperation mode, depending on what happens earlier in the week at Indiana.

Oregon at Cal (ABC, 6 PT): The Ducks might be looking for a sweep or a must split to hold onto their lead in the Pac-10. The difference for Oregon this week is now the Ducks will be the target and teams will get up for them, much like they do for the supposed elite when they come to Eugene.

Western Kentucky at Arkansas State: Chris Marcus' return to the Hilltoppers means the heralded matchup between Marcus and 7-foot Arkansas State center Jason Jennings will finally happen. Marcus missed the first meeting.

Sunday

Pittsburgh at Syracuse: The Big East West Division title could be on the line when these two teams meet. Syracuse would like some revenge after the Panthers dominated the boards in the last meeting.

Miami at Boston College (ABC, 2:30 ET): The Eagles will go for a sweep for the second season in a row. BC needs this game more than the Hurricanes. Sweeping Miami would give BC something the other Big East middle of the pack teams probably won't get.

Ohio State at Michigan State: The Buckeyes will feel the heat on the road when they go to East Lansing. Michigan State can really climb back into the race with a win.

Oklahoma State at Fresno State (ABC, 2:30 ET): This looked like a big-time game when it was scheduled. Now it's a game the Bulldogs need to win to save face after dropping two on the road last week.
