  • University of Texas
  • The Longhorns are undergoing a $50 million makeover at the Frank Erwin Center.
  • Lower arena seating areas were reconfigured to move fans closer to the court and provide the Longhorns with a more intimate, high-energy atmosphere. In the process, almost 1,200 arena-level (lower level) seats were created and allocated as general admission seating for UT students.
  • This year, construction has begun on the basketball practice facility, located immediately south of the Erwin Center.
  • The two-level, 40,000-square foot facility will include two full-size practice courts, dressing rooms, meeting rooms, an audio-visual center, study/computer areas, a strength and conditioning room, an athletics training/medical center, a reception area and an exhibit hall.
