KNOXVILLE, Tennessee (Ticker) -- Vincent Yarbrough scored 19 points and Isiah Victor added 15 and nine rebounds as No. 18 Tennessee remained undefeated with a 78-59 victory over Miami of Ohio.

C.J. Black recorded 12 points -- including his 1,000th career point -- and eight rebounds for Tennessee (5-0), which improved to 4-2 all-time against Miami.

Yarbrough scored 13 points in the first half, hitting 5-of-8 shots as Tennessee shot 50 percent (13-for-25) over the opening 20 minutes and held a 39-21 lead at halftime.

Tennessee outscored Miami, 36-28, in the paint but starting guards Jon Higgins and Tony Harris shot just a combined 28 percent (5-for-18).

"Miami is a difficult team to play against, disciplined on offense and tough inside defensively," said Tennessee coach Jerry Green. "Tony Harris was a little bit sick and didn't have his usual bounce, but he did a good job on Rob Mestes."

Jason Grunkemeyer scored 19 points off the bench to lead Miami (1-2), which shot just 37 percent (22-for-60) from the floor. Grunkemeyer was 5-for-5 from 3-point range, but the rest of the RedHawks were 2-for-16 from behind the arc.

"Grunkemeyer played with some passion," said Miami coach Charlie Coles. "He's our best shooter. As the coach, I look at who has energy and who doesn't. Last week I didn't think he had the energy he needed. He played well tonight."
