BALTIMORE -- Erin Elbe and Gloria Lozano scored in overtime as top-seeded Georgetown beat Cornell 12-10 on Friday in the NCAA Division I women's lacrosse semifinals.

Lozano had three goals for Georgetown (17-1), which advanced to the championship game Sunday against Princeton, a 16-2 winner over North Carolina in the second semifinal.

Lori Wohlschlagel led Cornell (16-2) with three goals. Sarah Fischer added two goals, including the tying score with 17 seconds left in regulation.

In the second semifinal, Theresa Sherry scored five goals and Whitney Miller had four for Princeton (18-1) in the game that was interrupted by thunderstorms for about 65 minutes midway through the second half.

North Carolina finished the season 17-3.
