Pacers' playbook: Getting Reggie shots
Coach's Edge

The Pacers may appear to be at a huge disadvantage going up against the best team in the NBA, but they have their own secret weapons when it comes to scoring points. Reggie Miller has been draining threes since he came into the league. Here's how the Pacers might get the ball to him.

ANIMATE THIS PLAY DIAGRAM WITH SHOCKWAVE
(A) The Pacers' offense starts with getting Reggie Miller his shots. Mark Jackson (13) brings the ball up the floor opposite Miller (31). Jalen Rose (5) follows Jackson and cuts off a Dale Davis (32) screen to the block.
(B) Jackson (13) looks inside to Rose (5). If Rose isn't there, Jackson dribble-reverses off a screen from Davis (32). Miller (31) pops out to the wing off a Rik Smits (45) screen, and it's time for the three.
