Camby takes a seat to nurse sore back

CHICAGO – New York Knicks center Marcus Camby sat out Friday night's game against the Chicago Bulls due to back spasms.

Camby has averaged 18.5 rebounds over the last four games and was New York's leading scorer over the last three games on 61 percent shooting.

Thursday night against Boston, Camby scored 27 points – his high as a Knick – and grabbed 17 rebounds.

This is the 13th game Camby has missed due to injury, but the first because of back problems.

He leads New York in rebounding, averaging 11.5 per game.
