Mihm injury further depletes Cavs

CLEVELAND -- Rookie center Chris Mihm of the Cleveland
Cavaliers will miss at least two games because of a knee injury.
Mihm bruised a bone in his right knee during Saturday night's
loss to Philadelphia.

The 7-footer will miss Monday's game against New Jersey and will
not travel with the team to Sacramento to begin a six-game road
trip.
The Cavs, who have been plagued by injuries all season, signed
forward Etdrick Bohannon to a 10-day contract Sunday.
Bohannon has played 20 games in the past three years for the
Indiana Pacers, Washington Wizards, New York Knicks and Los Angeles
Clippers.
Mihm, making his sixth start with Zydrunas Ilgauskas out with a
broken left foot, was injured on a putback with 7:27 left in the
second quarter. He was averaging 6.4 points per game and had
season-highs of 18 points and 15 rebounds against Milwaukee on Wednesday night.
The Cavs dressed just 10 players for Saturday's game and announced that guards
Wes Person and Matt Harpring would seek second opinions next week
and could both be facing surgery.
Backup point guard Bimbo Coles recently had surgery on his knee
and won't be back until next week at the earliest, and guard Trajan
Langdon has missed time with a sore back.
Ilgauskas has missed most of the past two seasons with broken
feet. He has been visiting foot specialists around the country and
hasn't decided whether or not to have more surgery.
Before the game, Cavs GM Jim Paxson said the team would sign a
big man before the team goes on its six-game trip. Mihm's
injury may force the Cavs to do something sooner.
