ACL injury latest setback for Gugliotta

ESPN.com news services

Phoenix Suns forward Tom Gugliotta has a ruptured ACL and MCL, the team said Saturday.

Gugliotta had a MRI Saturday after he was hurt Friday night in the Suns 99-96 loss to the Utah Jazz. Suns guard Randy Livingston rolled onto Gugliotta's left knee with 3:09 left to play in the game.

Gugliotta is scheduled to have surgery next week. While the seriousness of the injury will likely end the All-Star's season, the Suns wouldn't say how long Gugliotta is expected be out.

Earlier this season Gugliotta missed seven games after suffering a life-threatening seizure from what is believed to have been a bad reaction to a food supplement.
