EXPERT ANALYSIS
  "Much like Evan Eschmeyer, Todd MacCulloch has some athletic deficiencies that will always be issues. Although he improved his conditioning during his career at Washington, MacCulloch is a plodder who does not get up and down the court quickly, but has very good skills with the ball in the post. He works hard for position and gets his shot off quickly, leading the nation in field goal percentage for the last three seasons.

MacCulloch has good post moves and can shoot inside with either hand, but he does not have the quickness to get around people in the post, and could struggle getting his shot off. MacCulloch needs to be able to hit a mid-range jumper, because he probably never will be a pick-and-roll player. I think MacCulloch's biggest strength for making the NBA will be his tenacity on the glass and his size to be able to bang on the defensive end in the post. Given his size and hands, MacCulloch will get an opportunity, and if given time to develop, he could be a capable NBA backup center."
