Highlights
Started playing career in 1995-96 with Efes Pilsen of Istanbul, Turkey, one of the top teams in Europe which also competes in the Euroleague. A member of the Turkish National Team.

Playing for the national team in a "friendly game" against Italy on February 24, 2000, he scored a team-high 17 points. In a "friendly game" against France on November 29, 1999, he scored 16 points.

According to European scouts, he is an athletic, creative offensive player who is able to drive past defenders with excellent one-on-one moves. He needs strength, but has improved every year and is still only 21 years old.

Highly-regarded by NBA scouts who have seen him play. With Efes Pilsen, is a teammate of former Arkansas point guard Kareem Reid and former NBA forward Ricky Winslow. Another teammate is Yugoslavian center Predrag Drobnjak, a 1997 draft pick of the Washington Wizards.

Played at the 1997 22-and-Under World Championship and at the 1998 22-and-Under European Championship Efes Pilsen won the 1997-98 Turkish Cup.
