"Przybilla is a natural shotblocker. He makes blocks away from his man, and has the timing and ability to make blocks on the ball. In fact, on the college level, Przybilla was able to block shots without really leaving the floor.

Offensively, Przybilla is limited, but he has tools. Early in the season, he was not able to score efficiently outside of the lane, but later was much more confident and looked less mechanical in making his moves down low. He has a serviceable jump hook and a decent touch around the basket.

Przybilla needs to work on his ability to run the court, work on his hands so that he is more comfortable handling the ball against pressure in the post, and also his passing. He has shown great strides in each area over the course of his shortened season, but still has a long way to go before he reaches his potential.-- ESPN's Jay Bilas

Early entry candidate for the 2000 NBA Draft. Enrolled at Minnesota as one of the school's most sought-after recruits in history. Ranks second on Minnesota's all-time single-season list with 84 blocks, tallied as a freshman, trailing only former NBA center Randy Breuer, who holds the mark with 87. Earned Basketball News All-America honors as a freshman.

In high school, was a two-time winner of the AP Player of the Year Award for Minnesota Named the top center in the country by Bob Gibbons All-Star Publications.

College highlights at Minnesota
As a sophomore, played in 21 games before suspension for failing to meet academic requirements. Led team in scoring (14.2 ppg), rebounding (8.4 rpg), blocks (81), and field goal percentage (.613). His 3.9 blocks per game was fourth in nation. Finished first in the Big Ten in field goal percentage, second in blocks (3.9 bpg), and third in rebounding.

As a freshman, started 26 games. Second in the Big Ten and eighth in the nation in blocks (3.0 bpg). Ranked second on the team and tied for ninth in the conference with 5.8 rebounds per game.

Recorded a career-high 10 blocks at Fresno State. Grabbed 15 rebounds against Oregon. Tallied 17 points and 13 rebounds against Penn State and 1998 Big Ten Defensive Player of the Year Calvin Booth, now a member of the Washington Wizards. Dished five assists against Montana State.
