Kukoc enjoys third career triple-double

RECAP | BOX SCORE | GAME FLOW

ATLANTA (AP) -- Toni Kukoc had his third career triple-double to lead three Atlanta players with 20 or more points as the Hawks beat the Vancouver Grizzlies 109-99 on Tuesday night.

With 20 points, 11 assists and 10 rebounds, Kukoc helped the Hawks win consecutive home games for the first time since Jan. 11-13 against Golden State and the Los Angeles Clippers.

Reserve Alan Henderson scored 23 points for Atlanta, which ended a 10-game losing streak with a 93-90 win over Chicago on Saturday night. Henderson also had 11 rebounds.

The Hawks' win over the Bulls, their first victory since Jan. 31, ended a seven-game losing streak at home.

Mike Bibby led Vancouver with 27 points. Bibby, who was 0-for-3 in the first half, scored 16 points in the third quarter on 7-for-8 shooting.

Shareef Abdur-Rahim, who grew up in nearby Marietta, led Vancouver with 13 rebounds. Abdur-Rahim finished with 21 points. Reserve Stromile Swift scored 14.

The Grizzlies, losing for the ninth time in 11 games, closed within 96-89 when Bibby hit a 3-pointer with 4:29 left in the game.

Kukoc dished out his final two assists to Henderson, whose dunks made it 101-89 with 3:01 to play and 106-95 with 1:06 remaining. Kukoc, playing just his eighth game with the Hawks, became the first Atlanta player to earn a triple-double since Dikembe Mutombo had 21 points, 13 rebounds and 11 blocked shots on Feb. 15, 2000, against the Minnesota Timberwolves.

Nazr Mohammed finished with 17 points and a career-high 13 rebounds for Atlanta.

Game notes
: Vancouver was outscored 64-32 in the paint and 25-10 on second-chance points. ... Henderson last led the Hawks in scoring Dec. 8 at Miami when he scored 22 points. ... Atlanta starting forward Chris Crawford left the game in the first quarter after turning his right ankle.
