PHILADELPHIA (AP) – The Vancouver Grizzlies' impressive run came to an end.

Allen Iverson scored 36 points as the Philadelphia 76ers beat Vancouver 107-91 Wednesday night, snapping the Grizzlies' franchise-record five-game winning streak.

"We showed our guys that we are not there yet," Grizzlies coach Sydney Lowe said. "We didn't do the small things tonight that we had done during our streak."

Iverson shot 13-for-17 from the line as the Sixers won their fifth straight.

"That team (Vancouver) is coming off of five straight wins and it was a struggle," Sixers coach Larry Brown said. "You tell me that we won by 16 and I can't believe it."

George Lynch had 16 points and 10 rebounds, and Eric Snow had 11 points and seven assists for Philadelphia, which improved to 21-2 when scoring more than 100 points. Matt Geiger added 10 points and a season-high 11 rebounds, and Tyrone Hill finished with 12 rebounds.

Shareef Abdur-Rahim had 27 points for the Grizzlies, who are 0-5 in Philadelphia and 1-10 against the Sixers. Michael Dickerson scored 16 and Mike Bibby added 14 points and six assists.

The teams combined for 84 free-throw attempts on 52 personal fouls and eight technical fouls, three of which were illegal defense violations against Philadelphia.

"It was tough. (The referees) got testy because guys were complaining," Brown said. "There were a lot of technicals and a lot of fouls, but I didn't see many calls that weren't really fouls."

Leading by seven points early in the fourth quarter, Philadelphia scored six straight points, including five by Iverson on a driving layup and a 3-pointer, for a 90-77 advantage with 8:23 left.

The Grizzlies closed within seven, 90-83, with 6:14 remaining, but the Sixers scored seven straight points to seal the win.

The Sixers led by as many as 10 in the third quarter, taking an 80-70 lead on a 19-foot jumper by Rodney Buford with 51 seconds left. Philadelphia led by six at the end of the quarter.

"I think it was a matter of not respecting them in the first half," Lynch said. "We had to come out and play better in the second half."

The Grizzlies made just one of their first eight shots and trailed 11-2 early in the first quarter. Vancouver rallied and scored 11 of the last 12 points in the quarter for a 29-22 lead.

Philadelphia opened the second quarter with a 14-3 run. Iverson scored eight and Geiger added seven in the outburst as the Sixers went on to build a 51-50 halftime lead.
