ORLANDO, Fla. (AP) -- San Antonio coach Gregg Popovich is seeing
a younger David Robinson these days.

The 35-year-old Robinson had 26 points and eight rebounds
Tuesday night as the Spurs beat the Orlando Magic 112-95 for their
fourth straight victory.
Robinson shot 9-for-14 and also had four assists and two blocked
shots. That followed a 29-point, 22-rebound performance against
Detroit three nights earlier.
"David seems to get younger and younger the way he plays,"
Popovich said. "The last two or three weeks, he feels really
athletic and it shows on the court. He plays his role well which
allows Tim Duncan to do what he does best."
Duncan had 19 points and 11 rebounds. He also blocked a
season-high five shots.
The Spurs came into the game down to seven of their 10-man rotation after a slew of injuries, which have hit Sean Elliott, Malik Rose and Avery Johnson.
But the Robinson-Duncan combination was too much for Orlando.
"Those guys play so well together," Orlando's Tracy McGrady
said. "It's like they've got a feel for one another. They pick
their spots on the court. They're very dominant guys."
Robinson said this is the best he's felt physically in a long
time.
"This summer I did a lot of work stretching, getting my body
really loose," he said. "Now I just think I've come back a lot
healthier, a lot stronger with a lot more bounce. I feel good."
Orlando has lost its last three games and has dropped six of its
last seven against San Antonio.
Derek Anderson had 24 points, seven assists and six rebounds for
San Antonio. Reserves Danny Ferry and Terry Porter each had 13
points. The Spurs were successful on 8-of-16 3-point shots.
Orlando got within 93-84 when Pat Garrity made consecutive
3-pointers with 5:59 remaining, but the Spurs pulled away.
McGrady led Orlando with 25 points and a season-high 12
rebounds, but shot 9-for-27. Garrity scored 18 in a reserve role
and Darrell Armstrong had 13 points.
"I thought the first six minutes, we got the game at our tempo
and then after that, once we played at their speed, we realized we
are not talented enough to play against two 7-foot players," Magic
coach Doc Rivers said. "I told them at the beginning of the game
that if we play at their speed, then we are going to lose."
San Antonio built its lead to 26 points early in the third
quarter. Orlando cut it to 74-59 on a 3-pointer by Garrity with
3:15 remaining.
San Antonio outscored Orlando 33-18 in the second quarter to
take a 56-35 halftime lead. The Magic hit 6-of-22 shots in the
quarter while San Antonio made 11-of-18.
Game notes
San Antonio put forward Sean Elliott on the injured list
with a small rotator cuff tear on his right shoulder. The Spurs
activated guard Jaren Jackson, who was placed on the injured list
Nov. 22 with a sprained left ankle. ... Armstrong left the game
with 7:33 remaining after suffering a gash over his left eye that
required five stitches. ... Orlando is 1-8 when allowing 100 or
more points.
