LAS VEGAS (AP) _ Predrag Stojakovic scored 20 points and was one of seven Kings to score in double figures as Sacramento beat the Los Angeles Lakers 118-111 in an exhibition game Monday night at the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas.

Stojakovic scored 16 points in the first half and reserve guard Bobby Jackson finished with 19 points, including 15 in the final period.

The Kings extended the Lakers to five games in the opening round of last season's playoffs round before Los Angeles went on to win the NBA championship.

Kobe Bryant led Los Angeles with 29 points in 25 minutes. Shaquille O'Neal had 15 points and led the Lakers with 10 rebounds.

The loss dropped the Lakers' preseason record to 2-5.

Los Angeles reserve guard Isaiah Rider scored 14 points playing on his college home court at UNLV.
