AUBURN HILLS, Mich. (AP) _ Grant Hill scored 16 points and Marcus Brown added 17 off the bench to help the Detroit Pistons to a 129-115 exhibition victory over the Sacramento Kings Thursday.

Detroit looked more comfortable with its fast-break attack than in a preseason-opening loss to Orlando 48 hours earlier, putting seven players into double figures. Jerry Stackhouse had 15 and backcourt partner Lindsey Hunter added 14.

Nick Anderson led all scorers with 30 points, including 10 in the first three minutes. The former Orlando Magic star hit eight 3-pointers.

The Pistons are using the new up-tempo offense, but they were obviously still behind the quicker Kings in the learning process in the first half. Sacramento shot 61 percent from the floor en route to a 66-61 halftime lead.

Detroit started the third quarter with an 8-2 run, capped Hunter's 3-pointer that put the Pistons ahead by one point.

The teams traded the lead back and forth throughout the period, with Detroit finally going up 90-88 thanks to a four-point play by Terry Mills.

Four straight points by Jimmy King, playing against his old ``Fab Five'' mate Chris Webber, kicked off a 15-4 run that put the Pistons up 107-94 with 9:29 to go.
