LOS ANGELES (AP) _ Todd Hundley hit a pair of two-run homers and Kevin Brown had his first two RBIs of the season Friday night to lead Los Angeles Dodgers over the Philadelphia Phillies 11-4.

Hundley, who has 13 homers, connected off Paul Byrd (1-4) in the fourth inning and Terry Brown in the seventh, his first multihomer game this season, the 11th of his career.

Los Angeles has won nine of 12, while Philadelphia has lost eight of 11.

Brown (4-1) allowed four runs _ three earned _ and eight hits in seven innings, striking out eight. Just 2-for-18 (.111) at the plate this season, he hit a two-run single in a five-run sixth as Los Angeles overcame a 4-3 deficit.

All the runs in the inning were unearned because of a throwing error by third baseman Kevin Jordan on Mark Grudzielanek's grounder leading off.

Eric Karros tied the score with a two-out double, Adrian Beltre's single put the Dodgers ahead 5-4 and Brown's single padded the lead to three runs. Todd Hollandsworth capped the rally with an RBI single.

Dodgers manager Davey Johnson was ejected by first base umpire Greg Gibson for arguing Karros' double had cleared the fence in right-center, hit something behind it and bounced back onto the field. A replay showed that the ball hit the top of the fence.

Kevin Elster added a solo homer in the seventh.

Byrd allowed eight runs, only three earned, and seven hits in 5 2-3 innings. Phillies rookie Pat Burrell, playing his third major league game, went 0-for-4.

Shawn Green's RBI double gave Los Angeles a 1-0 lead in the first, but Philadelphia went ahead in the third on Bobby Abreu's RBI triple and Rob Ducey's two-run homer.

Hundley's first homer tied it in the bottom half, but Philadelphia retook the lead in the sixth on Tom Prince's squeeze bunt.

Notes: Phillies closer Mike Jackson, signed to a $3 million, one-year deal during the offseason, had arthroscopic surgery on his right shoulder Friday and will not pitch this season. ... The Dodgers optioned Orel Hershiser to Class-A San Bernardino in order to activate reliever Mike Fetters. Hershiser has not pitched in a game since May 9 and is 1-2 with a 10.70 ERA and volunteered to go to the minors. Fetters, who was on the 15-day DL with a sore elbow, is 1-0 with a 2.53 ERA. ... Philadelphia 3B Scott Rolen has X-ray on his sprained left ankle, and they were negative. Rolen hurt his ankle Tuesday at Houston.
