SAN FRANCISCO (AP) -- Shawn Green had three hits, including his first home run for Los Angeles as the Dodgers beat San Francisco 11-7 Thursday night to complete a sweep of the Giants' inaugural home series at Pacific Bell Park.

The three-game sweep was Los Angeles' first in San Francisco since April 1981. Earlier Thursday, the Dodgers beat the Giants 6-5 in the completion of a game suspended from the previous night by rain.

Carlos Perez (1-1) recovered from a poor first outing and pitched six strong innings for the victory. He gave up three runs and six hits, struck out three and walked one as the Dodgers won their fourth straight.

Jeff Shaw got the final two outs in the ninth for his fourth save, and second of the day.

The Dodgers used five hits, a hit batter and a throwing error to take a 6-0 lead in the first off Mark Gardner (1-1) to send the Giants to their fifth straight loss.

Green and Gary Sheffield had RBI singles, Adrian Beltre a two-run single, Dave Hansen an RBI double and Chad Kreuter a run-scoring ground out.

Barry Bonds' two-run homer in the first cut the lead to 6-2, but Gardner allowed a two-out home run to Green in the second, then left the with a strained right groin injury. He is listed as day-to-day.

Marvin Benard's first home run of the season cut the deficit to 7-3 in the third.

Green singled and scored on Hansen's RBI single off Ben Weber in the fifth to give the Dodgers an 8-3 lead. They added three more runs off Weber and Alan Embree in the seventh -- two on Geronimo Berroa's bases-loaded single and another on Todd Hollandsworth's RBI single.

Calvin Murray hit his first major league homer for the Giants, a two-run shot off Onan Masaoka, in the seventh.

Doug Mirabelli hit a two-run homer off Alan Mills in the ninth to make it 11-7.

In the completion of the suspended game, Beltre drove in two runs, 15 hours apart, to lead the Dodgers.

The Dodgers scored three runs in the seventh inning off Weber (0-1) to erase a one-run deficit.

"Not to hold leads -- that's frustrating," Giants manager Dusty Baker said. "We had opportunities. We're not playing bad baseball. We're just now playing good baseball."

Rich Aurilia homered and drove in three runs for the Giants, who lost their fourth straight.

Terry Adams (1-0) pitched 1 2/3 innings of one-hit relief to earn the victory, and Shaw pitched a scoreless ninth for the save.

"Terry threw well and said to me if it rains every other day, he'll pitch every other day," Dodgers manager Davey Johnson said.
