MELBOURNE, Fla. (AP) _ Ricky Ledee, Jorge Posada and Clay Bellinger hit two homers apiece as the New York Yankees handed the Florida Marlins their second straight pounding, 19-0 on Friday.

Derek Jeter, Mike Coolbaugh and Rafael Bournigal also homered for the Yankees.

The Marlins, who were outhit 18-4, have been outscored 35-0 in their past two games as they deal with an outbreak of mumps that has infected six players.

``The past two days have forced me to reevaluate some people and their chances of making this team,'' Florida manager John Boles said. ``I'm not going to name names, but you want people to step up and earn jobs and I haven't seen anyone want to do that lately.''

``I'm not going to erupt in front of you people (the media), I'm not going to embarrass myself or you guys, but maybe later it'll be a different story.''

Jason Grilli started for Florida and was ineffective allowing six hits and six earned runs in three innings.

``I'm trying to make this ballclub and I need to show people that I can pitch in the big leagues,'' Grilli said. ``So I'm ticked at myself for not doing better. I felt fine. I planned on going right after them and being aggressive.''

By far the worst or the Florida pitchers on Friday was Ryan Edmundson, who pitched one inning and gave up seven hits and seven runs.

``I felt bad for him today,'' Boles said. ``He had a tough time out there.''

Notes: There was some good news on the pitching front for the Marlins. Alex Fernandez, who is scheduled to be the Marlins opening day starter, allowed two hits and struck out seven in six innings against Triple-A Albuquerque. ``I felt great,'' he said. ``I'm right where I want to be and that's great. Right now I feel very close to 100 percent.'' ... Cliff Floyd was held out of Friday's game with a sprained thumb. ... Florida LHP Michael Tejera has been diagnosed with a torn ulnar collateral ligament in his left elbow. ... The Marlins claimed OF Derrick Gibson off waivers from Colorado.
