Here's a rundown of what I've had to say about Florida State OLB BRIAN ALLEN since the beginning of the college-football season.

Dec. 7
He's tenacious, fast and ranks as one of the strongest linebackers you will ever come across, but he doesn't have ideal height for the outside position.

Nov. 22
Came through with a pair of unassisted tackles and six assisted stops in the Seminoles' impressive 30-7 victory over the Florida Gators.

Nov. 15
Finished with seven tackles, five of which were solos, and also broke up a pass against Wake Forest last week.

Nov. 8
Lacks ideal height, but Allen is strong, fast and an explosive tackler. Against Clemson, he finished with three stops and also broke up a pass.

Oct. 26
Rarely disappears from the action. That was the case again this past week against Virginia. Allen finished with six tackles, an interception and broke up a pass.
