ELMONT, N. Y. -- With jockey Jerry Bailey up, I'm All Yours motored through the stretch with a late outside run to nail 22-1 longshot Statement for a half-length win in the $150,000 Mohawk Handicap on Saturday at Belmont Park. Celtic Sky, the favorite, checked in third in the 1 1/8-mile grass race, three-quarters of a length behind Statement.

I'm All Yours, the second choice and 119-pound highweight in the Mohawk's field of 12 male grass runners, covered the distance in 1:47.87 over a firm course. He returned $6.70.

The Mohawk was the second stakes victory for I'm All Yours, who is owned by Anstu Stables. In August, I'm All Yours won the restricted West Point Handicap with a similar late move.

In his start prior to the Mohawk, I'm All Yours, a 4-year-old gelding, finished sixth in a mile and 70-yard optional claimer at The Meadowlands on Oct. 2. Pletcher said the distance was too short for I'm All Yours.

"A mile and 70 yards is a little short for him and he needs a little bit of a pace to run at," Pletcher said. "This suits him better, but we needed to get a race into him because he's the type of horse that gets a little heavy on you."

Iroquois: Maddie May turns tables
Maddie May, who finished second behind Bedside Manner in last month's Schenectady Handicap, turned the tables on that rival Saturday, rallying past her approaching the furlong pole and drawing clear to win the $125,000 Iroquois Handicap by 2 1/4 lengths.

Bedside Manner, the 6-5 favorite, finished second, a half-length ahead of Beijio. Completing the order of finish were Astrapi, Intransigence, Alley Ball, Cedar Knolls, and Broomesse.

Under John Velazquez, Maddie May took advantage of her outside post and a speed duel between Bedside Manner and Cedar Knolls to record her sixth win in 10 career starts. Maddie May, a 4-year-old daughter of Not for Love, covered the seven furlongs in 1:24.03 and returned $8.40 as the second choice.

"We had an outside post and a good trip," winning trainer Pletcher said. "It's nice when you have two horses go out there and go at each other like that and you can wait to make your move. I wasn't sure if seven furlongs was going to help her or not, but she has won at a mile and I felt the race would set up good for her."

As a 2-year-old, Maddie May won two of four starts, including the Maid of the Mist Stakes on New York Showcase Day. She fractured a hind ankle in the Demoiselle and when she was nearing her 3-year-old debut she fractured a tibia and missed her entire 3-year-old season. Neither injury required surgery.

For Bedside Manner, it was only the third loss in 10 career starts. She has never finished worse than third.

Pletcher said Maddie May would stay in New York this fall and winter and probably compete in open-company stakes.

Sleepy Hollow: White Ibis wins again
White Ibis made it two in a row in New York-bred stakes with a 2 1/4-length win in Saturday's $100,000 Sleepy Hollow.

White Ibis, under jockey Robbie Davis, received a perfect trip in the Sleepy Hollow, a stakes for

2-year-old colts and geldings. He sat off the early leaders before seizing the lead from pacesetter Private Emblem, the even-money favorite, with three-sixteenths of a mile remaining in the one-mile race.

Never Give In finished third, 2 1/2 lengths in front of Private Emblem, who took third. Completing the order of finish were Smokieisabandit, Finality, Eye of the Comet, Catbite, and Hamanjiz.

It was Davis's third win in seven runnings of the Sleepy Hollow. White Ibis ($9.30) covered the distance in 1:38.31 over a fast track.

In September, White Ibis won his maiden in the Bertram F. Bongard Stakes at Belmont in his initial start for trainer Richard DeStasio. White Ibis was third in his first two races, which came at Finger Lakes for trainer Robert Ringhoff. His owners, Quarter Keg Stable, made the trainer change because they wanted to take advantage of the lucrative stakes program for New York-breds at Belmont and Aqueduct.

"He's an immature 2, and is going to develop," said DeStasio of White Ibis. "[Davis] rode him perfect."

DeStasio said the $100,000 Great White Way, a division of the New York Stallion Stakes on Nov. 11 at Aqueduct, is a possible next start for White Ibis, a son of one New York's leading sires, Distinctive Pro.
