Alan Webb -- South Lakes High (Va.)
Heidi Sloop -- West Wilkes High (N.C.)
Jeannie Addison -- Thomas Jefferson/Governor High (Va.) Erin Courtney -- Central High (Fla.) In just her first year of cross country competition, Courtney won the individual crown at the Gulf Coast Athletic Conference meet on Oct. 28. Courtney finished the course in a time of 19:21 to help give Central its fourth straight conference title. Rob Morrow -- Grapevine High (Texas) Morrow, a junior, won his third consecutive district title with a three-mile time of 15:48 on Oct. 28 at Meadowmere Park, edging out Birdville High's Derek Yorek. Morrow's performance helped give Grapevine the team title with 32 points. Megan Kaltenbach -- Smoky Hill High (Colo.) The sophomore won her second straight Class 5A state title by a landslide margin on Oct. 28. Kaltenbach finished in a 5K time of 18:41.8 at Kent Denver High despite feeling sick during the race. Greeley Central High's Annie Bersagel was second with a time of 19:06.2. Carl Perez -- Madison High (Texas) Perez, a senior, finished first in the District 26-5A meet at Blossom Stadium on Oct. 28. Perez won with a three-mile time of 14:27, just one second in front of Lee High senior Pete Stintzi. Madison won the team title with 22 points. Debbie Green -- Northern High (Md.) Green claimed her third straight city crown by outlasting Mervo High freshman Ava Lee at Herring Run Park on Oct. 27. Katie Boyles -- Rochester Adams High (Mich.) Boyles won the Division I regional on Oct. 28 with a time of 18:52.3, giving the senior a chance to become the first four-time individual state champion in the top class or division. The state meet is scheduled for Nov. 4. Aaron Fisher -- Franklin Central High (Ind.) For the third straight year, the senior finished No. 1 in the semistate meet after winning at Southwestway Park on Oct. 28. With the victory, he advanced to the state championship in Bloomington on Nov. 4, when he'll try to become the first male to win three consecutive Indiana High School Athletic Association cross country state titles.
