1. Walt Whitman HS (South Huntington, N.Y.) - (15-0-0) *1
Brianne Pardini scored twice as Whitman ripped Northport High, 6-0. Whitman remained perfect on the season with the usual suspects leading the way. Melissa Shulman scored and assisted on a goal and Danielle Servedio and Pardini also netted goals in a 4-1 win over Centereach High.
2. Immaculate Heart Academy (Washington Township, N.J.) - (15-0-0) *2
The squad struggled a bit but managed to hold off Paramus High, 6-4. Simone Dekker did the damage with four goals and two assists. Courtney Cubicciotti added a goal and an assist. It was Stephanie Shewciw's turn to star against Nutley High. She scored three times in the 7-1 win.
3. Maria Carrillo HS (Santa Rosa, Calif.) - (17-0-0) *3
Maria Carrillo took care of business by a combined score of 10-0 this week. Ashley Bartholomew found the back of the net twice in a 6-0 blanking of Rancho Cotate High, while Erica Peterson scored two goals in a 4-0 win over Montgomery High.
4. Trumbull HS (Trumbull, Conn.) - (15-0-0) *4
A pair of 7-0 blowouts kept Trumbull safe at No. 4. Westhill High and Greenwich High were on the losing side of those Trumbull wins. Connecticut's top squad has outscored its opponents 80-7 this season with the help of sweeper Maureen Metzger and outside backs Jessica Stamos and Annie White.
5. Walsh Jesuit HS (Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio) - (15-0-1) *5
Walsh Jesuit is gearing up for playoff time. The team won once this week to maintain its status as the No. 5 team in the country.
6. Woodbury HS (Woodbury, Minn.) - (19-0-1) *6
If there was any question as to which is the best team in Minnesota, it was answered this week. Woodbury handled Stillwater High, 2-1, to win the Section 3AA title. Bry Grandas scored the game-winning goal on an assist by Carrie Czerniak.
7. Cranford HS (Cranford, N.J.) - (15-0-0) *7
Cranford swept two games this week from Scotch Plains High by scores of 5-0 and 2-1. In the 2-1 contest, Colleen Tretola and Gillian Murray scored.
8. Jesuit HS (Portland, Ore.) - (12-0-0) *8
Jesuit has outscored its opponents 61-2 this season. Maggie Manning and Maggie Barsotti have netted 10 goals apiece on the year.
9. River Hill HS (Clarksville, Md.) - (13-0-0) *9
Mount Hebron High was no match for the No. 9 team in the land, as River Hill won easily, 4-0.
10. Ramapo HS (Franklin Lakes, N.J.) - (14-0-1) *10
Allison Daniello and Ashley Shaban each scored once as Ramapo handled Indian Hills High, 2-1, this week.
