1. Sandia HS (Albuquerque, N.M.) - (15-0-0) *2
Sandia is dominating the Southwest and now the nation. Three more shutouts this week ran goalkeeper Will Minner's streak to eight straight, with the squad handling LaCueva High, 4-0, Sante Fe High, 2-0, and Highland High, 10-0. Ben Ashwill scored twice in the LaCueva win, and John Ross Ballantyne and Cameron Clarke found the back of the net against Sante Fe.

2. Horizon HS (Thornton, Colo.) - (13-0-0) *4
Two more shutouts by Horizon helped the team jump up two spots. Horizon is now on the heels of the top team in the nation after dismantling Westminster High, 11-0, and blanking Thornton High, 2-0.

3. Lincoln-Way HS (New Lenox, Ill.) - (17-1-1) *5
Ned Grabavoy cannot be stopped, posting a five-goal game in an 8-2 thrashing of Joliet High. His team also took care of Glenbard West High, 2-1, and Andrew High, 2-0. With Grabavoy visiting the University of Virginia, L-W snuck past Sandburg High, 2-1. Steve Doster scored once and Joe Ducci netted the game-winner with 26 minutes remaining in the contest.

4. St. Benedicts HS (Newark, N.J.) - (8-0-1) *6
St. Benedicts bounced back after being bounced from the No. 1 spot last week. The squad recorded two wins to move up two spaces in the rankings.

5. Montgomery HS (Santa Rosa, Calif.) - (14-0-1) *3
Tom Wood assisted Matt Bly on the game's only goal as Montgomery edged Elsie Allen High, 1-0. But the combination wasn't enough Tuesday. This time, Bly assisted Wood, but Montgomery yielded a goal in a 1-1 tie with Piner High.

6. Brother Rice Academy (Birmingham, Mich.) - (14-0-0) *NR
Brother Rice finally gets some recognition for posting an undefeated season so far. The group took care of Redford High, 8-0, to make its first appearance in the Top 10.

7. Cumberland Valley HS (Mechanicsburg, Pa.) - (15-0-0) *NR
Here is another squad that has made it through the season undefeated so far. The Eagles shut out Red Land High to vault into the No. 7 spot in the country.

8. Don Bosco Prep (Ramsey, N.J.) - (11-0-1) *10
David Zawitkowski and J.C. Carvajal both netted goals in a 2-0 blanking of Bergen Catholic High. Don Bosco also handled Passaic High, 4-1.

9. Highlands Ranch HS (Highlands Ranch, Colo.) - (12-0-0) *NR
The Ranch needed a goal from Jay Halterbaum, which was assisted by Troy Azuogu, with less than two minutes remaining to drop Arapahoe High, 1-0.

10. Sachem Lake HS (Ronkonkoma, N.Y.) - (10-0-1) *NR
Carlos Delgado (not the American League MVP candidate) tallied three assists and Nick Benito scored twice as Sachem Lake ripped Floyd High, 6-1.

Dropped Out:
No. 1 St. Marks HS (Wilmington, Del.) - lost to Holy Cross High (N.Y.), 1-0.
No. 7 St. Ignatius HS (Cleveland, Ohio) - lost to Strongsville High, 5-4.
No. 8 Penfield HS (Rochester, N.Y.) - lost to Greece Athena High, 1-0.
No. 9 Edwardsville HS (Edwardsville, Ill.) - lost to Oakville High (Mo.) on penalty kicks at the Hudson Memorial Tournament.
