    1. Buena HS (Ventura, Calif.) - (21-0) *1
    Last week: Beat Ventura High, 69-58; Defeated Oxnard High, 84-49.
    Upcoming: Thursday vs. San Marcos High; Saturday vs. Narbonne High
    Outlook: Courtney Young led the team with 21 points, including six 3-pointers, and N.C. State-bound Kelly Greathouse added 16 in the win over Ventura. Young scored 22 against Oxnard while Greathouse led the team with 24 points and also hauled down 10 boards.

    2. Narbonne HS (Harbor City, Calif.) - (17-2) *3
    Last week: Edged Artesia High, 58-56; Crushed Carson High, 66-38; Routed Banning High, 99-16.
    Upcoming: Wednesday at Gardenia High
    Outlook: Junior post player Wilnett Crockett scored 15 points and grabbed 10 rebounds in the win over Carson. Amber Pruitt hit a game-winning 15-footer with 12 seconds left to beat Artesia.

    3. Mountain View HS (Orem, Utah) - (18-1) *4
    Last week: Beat Brighton High, 61-31; Pounded Alta High, 47-23.
    Upcoming: Thursday vs. Hillcrest High
    Outlook: Sophomore Heather Hansen scored a season-high 19 points in the win over Brighton and nailed four 3-pointers. BYU-bound Danielle Cheesman added 20 points and 14 boards vs. Brighton and led the team with 16 against Alta.

    4. Highlands Ranch HS (Highlands Ranch, Colo.) - (13-1) *5
    Last week: Pounded Ponderosa High, 75-24.
    Upcoming:Friday vs. Heritage High; Feb. 6 vs. Gateway High
    Outlook: Junior Ann Strother and Notre Dame-bound senior Katy Flecky lead Ranch. The team's one setback came when Flecky was serving a one-game suspension.

    5. South Sioux City HS (South Sioux City, Neb.) - (17-1) *6
    Last week: Beat Lincoln Southeast High, 62-44, to win the Bellevue Tournament; Defeated Heelan High, 68-42; Game against Unity Christian was postponed due to bad weather.
    Upcoming: Saturday at Sioux City East High; Feb. 6 vs. Hull Western Christian; Feb. 8 at Norfolk High
    Outlook: Senior Katie Robinette averaged 25.5 points in the two Bellevue Tournament contests.

    6. Cedar Falls HS (Cedar Falls, Iowa) - (16-0) *7
    Last week: Defeated Cedar Rapids Prairie High, 59-37; Edged Iowa City High, 58-50.
    Upcoming: Friday vs. Waterloo West High; Feb. 6 vs. C.R. Kennedy High; Feb. 9 vs. Dbq. Senior High
    Outlook: Junior Ellie Peterson scored 37 points and grabbed 15 boards in the two victories.

    7. Mansfield HS (Mansfield, Texas) - (27-1) *9
    Last week: Beat Arlington High, 61-58; Defeated Cedar Hill High, 54-33. Upcoming: Friday vs. DeSoto High Outlook: Kansas State-bound senior center Brie Madden is averaging 12 points and 9.8 rebounds per game while teammate Tori Wilson leads the team art 12.4 ppg. Point guard Erin Grant is averaging 11.1 points and an area-leading 8.1 assists per contest. Madden averaged 13 points in the two wins.

    8. Christ the King HS (Middle Village, N.Y.) - (15-1) *10
    Last week: Crushed Bishop Loughlin High, 106-36. Upcoming: Tuesday vs. St. Edmund High; Feb. 4 at Cardinal O'Hara High (Pa.) Outlook: Boston College-bound guard Clare Droesch poured in 24 points in the rout against Bishop Loughlin.

    9. Hanford HS (Hanford, Calif.) - (16-2) *11
    Last week: Routed Lemoore High, 89-34; Cruised past Redwood High, 77-39; Game with Brea-Olinda High was canceled because of poor weather.
    Upcoming: Friday at Sanger High
    Outlook: Hanford is led by senior Arizona-bound center Shawntinice Polk.

    10. Red Bank Catholic HS (Red Bank, N.J.) - (13-1) *12
    Last week: Routed Red Bank Regional, 79-39; Edged Mendham High, 52-49.
    Upcoming: Thursday vs. Matawan High
    Outlook: Center Jessica DePalo averaged 22 points in the two wins.

    11. Ben Davis HS (Indianapolis, Ind.) - (17-2) *13
    Last week: Pounded Carmel High, 73-47.
    Upcoming: Thursday vs. Brebeuf Jesuit; Saturday vs. Terre Haute South High; Feb. 6 at Noblesville High
    Outlook: Shyra Ely scored 27 points and grabbed 14 boards while Ashley Allen chipped in 16.

    12. Fenwick HS (Oak Park, Ill.) - (23-2) *2
    Last week: Edged Stevenson High, 41-40, in overtime of the Sweet 16 Tournament; Beat Maine South High, 61-46; Lost to Washington High, 55-51.
    Upcoming: Wednesday vs. Benet High; Friday vs. Teutopolis High; Saturday at Stevenson High
    Outlook: Six-foot-2 Sophomore Erin Lawless managed 15 in the losing effort against Washington and added 12 vs. Maine South. Northwestern-bound senior center Sarah Kwasinski led the team with 14 points against Maine South.

    13. Germantown Academy (Fort Washington, Pa.) - (20-2) *14
    Last week: Beat Peddie School, 75-65.
    Upcoming: Tuesday vs. Springside School; Friday vs. Shipley School; Saturday vs. Ursuline Academy; Monday vs. The Baldwin School
    Outlook: Center Gillian Goring scored 20 points against the Peddie School while Laura Kurz led the team with 22.

    14. Shelbyville Central HS (Shelbyville, Tenn.) - (19-2) *15
    Last week: Beat Tullahoma High, 64-46.
    Upcoming: Friday at Lawrence County High; Feb. 6 vs. Marshall County High; Feb. 9 vs. Tullahoma High
    Outlook: Casey Bradford led the team with 14 points while Abi Ramsey and Alex Fuller each chipped in 12.

    15. Fort Collins HS (Fort Collins, Colo.) - (13-1) *16
    Last week: Beat Thompson Valley High, 52-34.
    Outlook: Guard Ashley Vanakamp scored 12 points and had five steals while Msur Tor-Agbidye added 12 points in the win over Thompson Valley.

    16. Council Rock HS (Newton, Pa.) - (20-0) *17
    Last week: Crushed Central Bucks West High, 78-31.
    Upcoming: Tuesday at North Penn; Friday vs. Neshaminy High; Saturday vs. Archbishop Prendergast High; Feb. 8 at Pennsbury High
    Outlook: Julie Sailer and Karen Habrukovich each scored 13 points in the win, which was coach Lou Polkovics' 100th career victory.

    17. Beavercreek HS (Beavercreek, Ohio) - (16-0) *18
    Last week: Defeated Chaminade-Julienne High, 47-31.
    Upcoming: Wednesday vs. Springfield North High; Feb. 3 at Fairmont High; Feb. 7 vs. Xenia High

    19. Nashua HS (Nashua, N.H.) - (10-2) *19
    Last week: Beat Memorial High, 73-27; Cruised past Pinkerton Academy, 71-42.

    Outlook: Liz Dancause averaged 22 points and four assists in the two wins.

    20. North Atlanta HS (Atlanta, Ga.) - (20-2) *20
    Last week: Routed Marist High, 55-16; Pounded Mays High, 83-32; Beat Dunwoody High, 75-48.
    Upcoming: Friday vs. South Atlanta High
    Outlook: Khaili Sanders scored 22 in the rout over Marist. The top team in Georgia still hasn't lost a game to an in-state foe this season.

    21. Fort Smith Northside HS (Fort Smith, Ark.) - (15-2) *21
    Last week: Beat Fayetteville High, 59-30.
    Outlook: Junior Redd Coleman leads the team, which is beating its conference opponents by an average margin of 22.6 points per contest.

    22. Woodward HS (Woodward, Okla.) - (15-1) *22
    Last week: Beat Liberal High
    Upcoming: Tuesday vs. Elk City High; Feb. 6 vs. Garden City High; Feb. 9 at Elk City
    Outlook: Woodward is led by Kala Bowers scored 54 points combined in the three victories.

    23. Elizabeth Seton HS (Bladensburg, Md.) - (16-2) *23
    Last week: Beat Carroll High, 83-43; Pounded Bishop Ireton High, 81-34.
    Upcoming: Tuesday vs. O'Connell High; Friday vs. Good Counsel High; Feb. 6 vs. St. John's
    Outlook: Lynette O'Reggio scored 19 points in the win against Bishop Ireton while Erin Winston led the team with 17 vs. Carroll.

    24. Riverdale Baptist School (Upper Marlboro, Md.) - (16-2) *24
    Last week: Crushed St. Mary's, 80-33; Beat Dunbar High, 65-50.

    Outlook: Tiffany Stansbury scored 18 points, grabbed 15 boards and blocked five shots in the win over St. Mary's.

    25. Jackson County HS (McKee, Ky.) - (23-0) *25
    Last week: Cruised past Newport Catholic, 64-39, to win the All A State Classic; Beat Holy Rosary, 71-39; Defeated Somerset High, 67-45; Beat Bishop Brossart High, 60-44.
    Upcoming: Friday vs. Rockcastle County High
    Outlook: Tiffany Roaden earned MVP honors after averaging 17 points and 14 boards per contest in the tourney.

    Briarcrest Christian (Memphis, Tenn.) - (24-1)
    Last week: Beat Hutchinson High, 93-31; Defeated Tupelo High (Miss.), 92-59.
    Upcoming: Friday at Evangelical Christian
    Outlook: Ashley Earley scored 22 against Hutchinson and poured in a career-high 43 points vs. Tupelo.
