Upcoming: Tuesday vs. Berkshire School (Fla.); Thursday at Victory Christian School (N.C.); Saturday at Blue Ridge School (Va.) Outlook: Rashaad Carruth scored 20 points against Xaverian and Woodrow Wilson while point guard Billy Edelin finished with 18 points vs. Xaverian and a team-leading 25 against Woodrow Wilson. Junior power forward Mario Boggan averaged 20 points in the two games while senior 7-footer DeSagana Diop suffered a heal injury on Friday that limited his play in the title game. 2. Willowridge HS (Sugar Land, Texas) - (27-0) *2 Last week: Beat Elkins High, 64-50; Routed Clements High, 91-47. Upcoming: Thursday at Terry High; Saturday vs. Austin High; Feb. 8 vs. Kempner High Outlook: Senior point guard T.J. Ford poured in a game-high 25 points while Andre Watson added 14 points and 12 boards against Clements. Watson also had a big game vs. Elkins, scoring 20 points and hauling in 10 rebounds. The Eagles have won 50 straight contests.
3. Camden HS (Camden, N.J.) - (13-0) *3 4. Berkshire School (Homestead, Fla.) - (15-1) *5 Last week: Beat Blue Ridge High (N.C.), 63-55; Defeated Mt. Zion Academy, 86-78. Upcoming: Tuesday at No. 1 Oak Hill Academy (Va.) Outlook: Duane John scored a team-high 17 points against Blue Ridge and added 15 points and seven boards vs. Mt. Zion. Depaul-bound swingman Quemont Greer managed 13 in the win over Blue Ridge and a team-leading 17 points and eight rebounds against Mt. Zion. 5. St. Vincent-St. Mary HS (Akron, Ohio) - (12-1) *6 Last week: Pounded Stow Walsh Jesuit, 96-37; Beat Buchtel High, 58-50. Upcoming: Friday vs. Cleveland Villa Angela-St. Joe; Saturday vs. Cleveland Benedictine Outlook: Sophomore Lebron James played just 20 minutes and still managed to score 31 points, grab seven rebounds and dish out four assists against Stow Jesuit. James helped SVSM avoid the upset with 33 points, four boards and five blocks in an 8-point win over Buchtel. SVSM's lone loss came to No. 1 Oak Hill Academy. 6. Westchester HS (Los Angeles, Calif.) - (20-1) *7 Last week: Beat Villa Park High, 74-60, at the Nike Extravaganza; Defeated Hamilton High, 116-80. Upcoming: Wednesday at Fairfax High Outlook: Junior guard Brandon Heath led the team with 15 points Villa Park. 7. Ballard HS (Louisville, Ky.) - (21-1) *4 Last week: Beat Shelby County High, 88-71; Lost to Jeffersonville High, 69-66. Upcoming: Tuesday vs. Manual High Outlook: Ballard suffered its first setback of the season against Jeffersonville despite senior guard Adam Chiles' 31-point effort. Chiles had 13 points, six rebounds and four assists in the win over Shelby County while center Brandon Bender had 28 vs. Shelby and just 10 points and seven rebounds in the loss to Jeffersonville. 8. Mater Dei HS (Santa Ana, Calif.) - (20-2) *9 Last week: Crushed Miami Christian (Fla.), 87-55, at the Nike Extravaganza. Upcoming: Wednesday vs. Santa Margarita High; Friday vs. Servite High; Saturday vs. Los Alamitos High Outlook: Guard Cedric Bozeman scored 24 points had six assists while center Jamal Sampson added 17 points and 17 boards vs. Miami Christian. 9. Midwest City HS (Midwest City, Okla.) - (13-2) *10 Last week: Routed Westmoore High, 74-46; Edged Bishop McGuinness High, 77-68. Upcoming: Tuesday vs. Norman North High Outlook: Junior forward Shelden Williams was held to just 10 points in the rout over Westmoore, but poured in 25 points and hauled down 17 rebounds vs. Bishop McGuinness. Guard DeAngelo Alexander averaged 20 points per game in the two victories. 10. White Station HS (Memphis, Tenn.) - (21-1) *11 Last week: Beat Germantown High, 71-60; Defeated Raleigh-Egypt High, 64-50. Upcoming: Tuesday vs. Collierville High Outlook: Guard Ernest Shelton led the team with 23 points against Germantown and 20 points and six boards vs. Raleigh-Egypt. Dane Bradshaw added 12 points, six rebounds and six assists against Raleigh-Egypt. 11. Vashon HS (St. Louis, Mo.) - (16-1) *12 Last week: Pounded Kansas City Central High, 86-42; Crushed Whitfield High, 67-37. Upcoming: Thursday vs. Soldan High; Feb. 9 vs. Roosevelt High Outlook: Junior Jimmy McKinney scored a game-high 27 points against Whitfield and added 23 vs. Kansas City Central. 12. Pike HS (Indianapolis, Ind.) - (15-1) *13 Last week: Crushed Southport High, 56-28; Beat Bloomington South High, 74-53. Upcoming: Saturday at Columbus North High; Feb. 9 at Bloomington North High Outlook: Notre Dame-bound guard Chris Thomas erupted for 33 points while David Teague added 12 against previously unbeaten Bloomington South. Keith Borgan and Donald Yates each finished with 11 points vs. Southport. 13. Reynolds HS (Winston Salem, N.C.) - (18-2) *14 Last week: Pounded West Charlotte High, 93-64; Cruised past Davie High, 82-53. Upcoming: Tuesday vs. Mount Tabor Outlook: Guard Mitchell Baldwin missed the game against West Charlotte because of a one-game suspension after breaking a team rule. Whit Holcombe-Faye picked up the slack, scoring 15 points against West Charlotte. Baldwin returned to score 12 points in the victory against Davie while Derrele Mitchell led the club with 16 points. 14. Montrose Christian School (Rockville, Md.) - (13-2) *15 Last week: Edged National Christian Academy, 69-61. Upcoming: Monday at Bowling Brooke High (Md.); Thursday at Middletown High; Friday at The Heights; Feb. 5 vs. Takoma Academy Outlook: N.C. State-bound forward Levi Watkins led the team with 25 points against National Christian and junior guard Troy Hailey had his best game of the season with 19 points. 15. Thornwood HS (South Holland, Ill.) - (17-1) *16 Last week: Beat Thornton High, 72-48; Routed Evanston High, 71-48. Upcoming: Monday at Lincoln-Way Central High; Friday vs. Shepard High; Saturday at Champaign Centennial High Outlook: Center Eddy Curry scored 26 points against Thornton and followed it up with a 16-point effort vs. Evanston. Melvin Buckley also managed 16 points vs. Evanston. 16. Germantown Academy (Fort Washington, Pa.) - (20-2) *17 Last week: Beat Hun School, 83-52. Upcoming: Tuesday vs. Episcopal Academy; Friday at Malvern Prep; Sunday at the Hoop Group Challenge Outlook: Junior swingman Matt Walsh led the team with 25 points against the Hun School and Lee Melchionni added 24. 17. Seattle Prep (Seattle, Wash.) - (18-1) *18 Last week: Beat Ballard High, 57-44; Routed Eastside Catholic, 89-43. Outlook: Cal-bound forward Erik Bond finished with 18 points against Ballard while senior Chris Witkowski had 14 points and Jeffrey Day managed 11 points and seven boards vs. Eastside Catholic. 18. Male HS (Louisville, Ky.) - (19-2) *19 Last week: Crushed Southern High, 102-36. Upcoming: Tuesday at Seneca High; Friday at Moore High; Saturday vs. Lexington Catholic in the Kentucky Preps Classic Outlook: Senior swingman Larry O'Bannon, one of the few remaining unsigned seniors, scored 23 points and grabbed eight rebounds while sophomore Michael Bush had 14 points and six assists in the win. 19. Clovis West HS (Fresno, Calif.) - (18-2) *20 Last week: Beat Fresno Central High, 71-64, in overtime; Pounded Madera High, 77-48. Upcoming: Wednesday at Clovis High Outlook: Tyrone Jackson led the team with 25 points in the win over Central while Chris Hernandez scored 7 of his 15 points in the extra period. 20. St. Patrick's HS (Elizabeth, N.J.) - (10-3) *8 Last week: Beat Cranford High, 87-69; Lost to St. Augustine High, 59-57. Outlook: St. Patrick's lost to St. Augustine on a buzzer-beater by Scott Greeman. Sam Lake led St. Pats with 19 points while backcourt mate Terrell Prince added nine points. Villanova-bound big man Marcus Austin was held to eight points and seven boards in the loss. 21. Oxon Hill HS (Oxon Hill, Md.) - (15-0) *23 Last week: Defeated Eleanor Roosevelt High, 61-57. Outlook: Lamar Butler scored a game-high 22 points against Eleanor Roosevelt to give Oxon its 26th straight win. 22. Milwaukee Washington HS (Milwaukee, Wis.) - (9-1) *24 Last week: Beat Milwaukee Riverside High, 80-60; Defeated North High, 77-56. Upcoming: Tuesday vs. Milwaukee Madison High; Friday vs. Milwaukee Custer High; Feb. 6 at Milwaukee South High Outlook: Kamarr Davis led the team with 26 points against Riverside. 23. Christian Brothers HS (Lincroft, N.J.) - (14-0) *25 Last week: Beat Middletown North High; Defeated Middletown South High, 63-25. Upcoming: Tuesday at Marlboro High; Friday at Howell High Outlook: Tim Begley leads the team, which has won 24 of its last 25 contests. 24. Coatesville HS (Coatesville, Pa.) - (18-1) Last week: Beat West Chester Henderson High, 70-63; Defeated William Penn, 63-59; Cruised past Norristown High, 91-57. Upcoming: Jan. 27 vs. Downingtown High Outlook: John Allen continued his torrid scoring pace with 37 points in the win over West Chester Henderson. The Seton Hall-bound senior had a triple-double in the game and scored his 2,000th career point. Point guard Maurice Bryant established a school mark with 527 assists in the win over Norristown. 25. St. Ignatius HS (Cleveland, Ohio) - (13-0) Last week: Beat Cleveland Villa Angelo-St. Joseph High, 63-54; Defeated Toledo St. John's, 76-56. Upcoming: Friday vs. St. Edward's Outlook: Senior forward Rory Hennessey, who recently committed to play at Yale University, pulled down 12 rebounds while senior guard Joe Gannon scored 14 points against St. John's. Pat Massey, who has committed to play football at Michigan, poured in 19 points and grabbed eight boards vs. Villa Angelo-St. Joseph. Others to Watch:
