2. Willowridge HS (Sugar Land, Texas) - (25-0) *2 Last week: Cruised past Hightower High, 79-64; pounded Dulles High, 81-51. Upcoming: Jan. 25 vs. Elkins High; Jan. 27 vs. Clements High. Outlook: Senior Curtis Walker scored 20 points and grabbed 14 rebounds vs. Hightower. Baylor-bound guard Kenny Taylor led the team with 25 points against Dulles. 3. Camden HS (Camden, N.J.) - (11-0) *3 Last week: Crushed Gloucester Tech, 157-67; beat Highland High, 84-73. Upcoming: Tuesday vs. Pennsauken Tech. Outlook: Memphis-bound guard Dajuan Wagner set a state record with 100 points in the win over Gloucester Tech and came back to score 54 against Highland. Freshman guard Shomari Moore added 13 points in the Highland victory. 4. Ballard HS (Louisville, Ky.) - (20-0) *4 Last week: Beat Trinity High, 75-66. Upcoming: Tuesday vs. Shelby County High. Outlook: Center Brandon Bender scored 22 points and grabbed 12 rebounds, while guard Adam Chiles, who received a scholarship offer to play at the University of Kentucky, registered 18 points, seven rebounds and five steals in the win over Trinity. 5. Berkshire School (Homestead, Fla.) - (14-1) *5 Last week: Idle. Upcoming: Jan. 27 vs. Blue Ridge High (N.C.). Outlook: Berkshire, which has taken the last two weeks off, is led by DePaul-bound swingman Quemont Greer. 6. St. Vincent-St. Mary HS (Akron, Ohio) - (10-1) *6 Last week: Crushed Youngstown Rayen High, 98-42. Upcoming: Jan. 26 vs. Stow Walsh Jesuit High. Outlook: Sophomore Lebron James finished with 20 points in the blowout of Rayen, while teammate Romeo Travis led the team with 25. 7. Westchester HS (Los Angeles, Calif.) - (17-1) *7 Last week: Beat Venice High, 129-86; defeated Pacific Palisades High, 80-62. Upcoming: Jan. 24 at University High. Outlook: Brandon Heath led the team with 15 points against Pacific Palisades, while Keith Everage scored 18 points and pulled down 11 rebounds in the victory over Venice. 8. St. Patrick's HS (Elizabeth, N.J.) - (9-2) *8 Last week: Edged Bayonne Marist High, 61-55; beat Burlington Life Center (N.J.), 71-54. Upcoming: Jan. 25 at Cranford High. Outlook: Villanova-bound senior big man Marcus Austin had his best game of the season with 26 points and 10 boards against Burlington Life. Fellow senior forward Jamie Sowers scored 14 points and grabbed 11 rebounds vs. Marist. 9. Mater Dei HS (Santa Ana, Calif.) - (19-2) *9 Last week: Cruised past St. John Bosco High, 87-44. Upcoming: Jan. 27 vs. Miami Christian High (Fla.) in the Nike Extravaganza in Long Beach, Calif. Outlook: Guard Cedric Bozeman scored 13 points and handed out 10 assists in the win over St. John Bosco. 10. Midwest City HS (Midwest City, Okla.) - (11-2) *11 Last week: Beat Edmond North High, 91-58, in the opening game of the Norman Tournament; defeated McAlester High, 95-70, in the semifinals; beat Norman High, 93-77, to win the tourney for the third straight year. Upcoming: Jan. 26 vs. Westmoore High; Jan. 27 vs. Bishop McGuiness High. Outlook: Junior forward Shelden Williams scored 24 points against Edmond North and added 26 points and nine rebounds vs. McAlester. Guard DeAngelo Alexander chipped in 23 points in the semifinal victory. 11. White Station HS (Memphis, Tenn.) - (19-1) *12 Last week: Beat Houston High, 72-54; cruised past Memphis Wooddale High, 83-61. Upcoming: Tuesday vs. Germantown High. Outlook: Guard Ernest Shelton scored 53 points in the two wins combined.
12. Vashon HS (St. Louis, Mo.) - (15-1) *13 13. Pike HS (Indianapolis, Ind.) - (13-1) *14 Last week: Pounded Decatur Central High, 119-51. Upcoming: Jan. 26 vs. Southport High; Jan. 27 vs. Bloomington South High. Outlook: Notre Dame-bound guard Chris Thomas poured in 23 points and David Teague added 16 against Decatur Central. 14. Reynolds HS (Winston Salem, N.C.) - (16-2) *15 Last week: Crushed South Rowan High, 87-48; pounded West Forsyth High, 94-67. Upcoming: Jan. 24 vs. West Charlotte High. Outlook: Guard Mitchell Baldwin scored 16 points against South Rowan and added a team-high 18 vs. West Forsyth. 15. Montrose Christian School (Rockville, Md.) - (12-2) *16 Last week: Beat Theodore Wilson High (D.C.), 71-47; edged Takoma Academy, 65-57. Upcoming: Jan. 26 vs. National Christian Academy. Outlook: N.C. State-bound forward Levi Watkins led the team with 27 points and 10 boards in the victory over Theodore Wilson. Guard Drew Hall added 16 points and 11 assists in the win. 16. Thornwood HS (South Holland, Ill.) - (15-1) *17 Last week: Beat Rockford Guilford High, 77-52, in the fourth annual High School Hoops Showdown; defeated Homewood-Flossmoor High, 82-73. Upcoming: Jan. 26 vs. Thornton High. Outlook: Center Eddy Curry had a big game with 23 points and 15 boards against Rockford Guilford, while Melvin Buckley scored 21 in the victory over Homewood-Flossmoor. 17. Germantown Academy (Fort Washington, Pa.) - (18-2) *18 Last week: Beat Penn Charter, 49-31; defeated Haverford School, 81-60. Upcoming: Jan. 27 vs. Hun School (N.J.). Outlook: It has been Matt Walsh's show nearly the entire season, but fellow junior Ted Skuchas had a big week for Germantown. The 6-foot-11 junior scored 18 against Penn Charter and added 16 points vs. Haverford. Lee Melchionni scored 29 points combined in the two wins. 18. Seattle Prep (Seattle, Wash.) - (16-1) *19 Last week: Edged Bishop Blanchett High, 46-43; defeated Cleveland Prep. Outlook: Cal-bound forward Erik Bond poured in 31 points against Cleveland Prep and managed 16 points and 13 boards vs. Bishop Blanchett. 19. Male HS (Louisville, Ky.) - (18-2) *20 Last week: Cruised past Louisville St. Xavier High, 93-69. Upcoming: Jan. 30 at Seneca High. Outlook: Sophomore forward Michael Bush led the team with 25 points against St. Xavier. Senior Larry O'Bannon, who is leaning toward committed to Tennessee, chipped in 22 points. 20. Clovis West HS (Fresno, Calif.) - (17-2) *21 Last week: Routed Natomas High, 85-49. Upcoming: Jan. 24 at Fresno Central High. Outlook: Junior guard Nick Debban led the team with 17 points in the easy victory against Natomas. 21. Dominguez HS (Compton, Calif.) - (16-3) *22 Last week: Beat Downey High, 74-59; beat Lynwood High, 79-59. Upcoming: Jan. 24 vs. Gahr High. Outlook: Senior 7-footer Tyson Chandler scored 33 points and hauled down 13 boards against Downey. 22. Champagnat Catholic HS (Hialeah, Fla.) - (20-1) *23 Last week: Crushed ACE Academy, 74-43; routed Florida Christian, 74-40; cruised past Key West High, 98-60. Upcoming: Tuesday vs. Westminster Academy. Outlook: Yohan Gomez led the team with 19 points in the rout of ACE Academy, while Roy Rose poured in 21 points against Florida Christian. 23. Oxon Hill HS (Oxon Hill, Md.) - (13-0) *24 Last week: Defeated Laurel High, 65-45. Outlook: Oxon extended its winning streak to 25 games with the victory over Laurel. 24. Milwaukee Washington HS (Milwaukee, Wis.) - (8-1) *25 Last week: Idle. Upcoming: Jan. 26 at Milwaukee Riverside High. 25. Christian Brothers HS (Lincroft, N.J.) - (11-0) *NR Last week: Beat Neptune High, 68-57. Outlook: Tim Begley kept CB undefeated with 26 points vs. Neptune.
