1. Buena HS (Ventura, Calif.) - (15-0) *1
Last week: Beat Ventura High, 70-41; routed Oxnard High, 85-41.
Upcoming: Jan. 11 at San Marcos High; Jan. 13 vs. Harvard-Westlake High; Jan. 16 vs. Dos Pueblos High.
Outlook: North Carolina State-bound Kelly Greathouse scored 23 points and grabbed nine rebounds against Ventura and added 26 points in the victory over Oxnard. Senior Courtney Young added 22 against Ventura and 26 vs. Oxnard.

2. Christ the King HS (Middle Village, N.Y.) - (12-0) *2
Last week: Defeated Stella Maris High, 84-26; beat St. Raymond's High, 92-48.
Upcoming: Jan. 13 vs. Bullis School (Md.).
Outlook: Guard Clare Droesch scored 22 points, dished out 13 assists and grabbed eight rebounds in the win over St. Raymond's.

3. Fenwick HS (Oak Park, Ill.) - (13-0) *3
Last week: Beat Marian Catholic High, 67-55.
Upcoming: Jan. 11 at Barrington High; Jan. 12 vs. No. 4 Ben Davis High (Ind.); Jan. 13 at Bishop McNamara High.
Outlook: Claudette Towers led the team with 16 points and seven rebounds in the win over Marian Catholic. Northwestern-bound senior Sarah Kwasinski added 15 points and nine boards before leaving in the fourth quarter with a knee injury.

4. Ben Davis HS (Indianapolis, Ind.) - (10-1) *4
Last week: Beat North Central High, 68-39.
Upcoming: Jan. 12-13 in the Chicago American Shootout; Jan. 16 at Avon High.
Outlook: Ashley Allen leads the team with 17.4 points per game, but it was Shyra Ely who scored 19 points to led the team over North Central. Ely is averaging 14.4 points and 10.3 boards per contest this season.

5. Narbonne HS (Harbor City, Calif.) - (10-2) *5
Last week: Idle.
Upcoming: Jan. 13 vs. San Pedro High.

6. Mountain View HS (Orem, Utah) - (10-1) *6
Last week: Beat Brighton High, 59-27; defeated Alta High, 61-23.
Upcoming: Jan. 11 vs. Jordan High.
Outlook: Forward Danielle Cheesman scored 41 points and grabbed 21 boards combined in the two wins.

7. Highlands Ranch HS (Highlands Ranch, Colo.) - (8-1) *7
Last week: Pounded Aurora Central High, 76-20.
Upcoming: Jan. 12 vs. Arapahoe High; Jan. 16 at Rangeview High; Jan. 19 at Hinckley High.
Outlook: Ann Strother poured in a game-high 16 points in the win over Aurora Central.

8. South Sioux City HS (South Sioux City, Neb.) - (10-1) *8
Last week: Routed Omaha Roncalli High, 102-37.
Upcoming: Jan. 12 vs. Ralston High; Jan. 13 at Beatrice High; Jan. 18 at North High.
Outlook: Senior Katie Robinette scored 17 points and grabbed 10 boards while her younger sister, freshman Ashley Robinette, added 20 points and nine rebounds in the win over Omaha Roncalli. South Sioux led 33-4 after the first quarter of play.

9. Red Bank Catholic HS (Red Bank, N.J.) - (7-0) *9
Last week: Beat St. Rose High, 70-41; defeated Raritan High, 65-28.
Upcoming: Jan. 12 vs. St. John Vianney High.
Outlook: Jessica DePalo averaged 19 points per game in Red Bank's two wins last week.

10. St. Pius HS (Milwaukee, Wis.) - (9-1) *10
Last week: Defeated Hartland Arrowhead High, 61-31.
Upcoming: Jan. 12 at Waukesha South High; Jan. 19 vs. Waukesha Memorial High.
Outlook: Senior guard Shawna Nichols scored 13 points, dished out 10 assists, grabbed eight rebounds and registered seven steals in the easy win over Hartland Arrowhead.

11. Cedar Falls HS (Cedar Falls, Iowa) - (9-0) *11
Last week: Defeated Dubuque Senior High, 77-36.
Upcoming: Jan. 12 vs. Waterloo East High; Jan. 16 vs. Dubuque Hempstead High.
Outlook: Kim Dreyer scored 22 points in the win over Dubuque Senior.

12. Mansfield HS (Mansfield, Texas) - (22-1) *12
Last week: Beat Arlington High, 56-33; defeated Arlington Martin High, 65-51; beat DeSoto High, 58-37.
Upcoming: Jan. 12 vs. Arlington Bowie High.
Outlook: Senior Tori Wilson averaged 16 points per contest in the first two games, while Brie Madden scored 18 points and grabbed 11 boards in the win over DeSoto. Point guard Erin Grant leads the area with 9.2 assists per game.

13. Hanford HS (Hanford, Calif.) - (10-2) *13
Last week: Beat Clovis West High, 68-39; defeated Tulare Western High, 55-26; beat Fresno Edison High, 76-43; crushed Fresno High, 81-38.

Outlook: Julie Sailer led the team with 19 points in the win over C.B. East, while Allie Bagwell and Karen Habrukowich added 13 apiece.

19. Beavercreek HS (Beavercreek, Ohio) - (11-0) *NR
Last week: Beat Kettering Fairmont High, 62-33; defeated Springfield South High, 70-36.
Upcoming: Wednesday vs. Fairborn High.
Outlook: Sophomore center Allison Bales scored 15 points, grabbed 12 rebounds and blocked nine shots in the win over Springfield South.

20. Nashua HS (Nashua, N.H.) - (5-2) *21
Last week: Beat Exeter High, 74-35.
Upcoming: Jan. 11 at Merrimack High.
Outlook: Sophomore Lauren Moore continued her hot shooting, scoring 21 points and grabbing six rebounds in the victory over Exeter.

21. North Atlanta HS (Atlanta, Ga.) - (13-2) *22
Last week: Pounded Washington High, 70-14.
Upcoming: Jan. 12 vs. Marist High.

22. Elizabeth Seton HS (Bladensburg, Md.) - (11-1) *23
Last week: Beat Good Counsel High, 57-51; defeated Bishop O'Connell High, 65-51.
Upcoming: Jan. 12 vs. Holy Cross.
Outlook: Sophomore guard Ebony Toliver scored 14 in the win over Good Counsel and Erin Winston led the team with 19 points vs. Bishop O'Connell.

23. Fort Smith Northside HS (Fort Smith, Ark.) - (10-2) *16
Last week: Beat Bentonville High, 59-39; defeated Van Buren High, 68-41.
Upcoming: Jan. 12 vs. Rogers High; Jan. 16 vs. Russellville High; Jan. 19 at Springdale High.
Outlook: Junior Redd Coleman led the team with 17 points against Bentonville and added 19 points and 15 boards vs. Van Buren. Her younger sister, sophomore Ashley Coleman, scored 11 points and dished out six assists against Van Buren.

24. Woodward HS (Woodward, Okla.) - (8-1) *18
Last week: Idle.
Upcoming: Jan. 12 vs. Guymon High; Jan. 18-20 at the Moore Tournament.

25. Riverdale Baptist School (Upper Marlboro, Md.) - (12-2) *25
Last week: Beat Bullis School, 60-56; defeated Parkdale High, 69-36.
Upcoming: Jan. 16 vs. McDonough School.
Outlook: Senior Tiffany Stansbury scored 11 points, grabbed 15 rebounds and swatted eight shots in the win over Parkdale.

No. 20 Marshall HS (Chicago, Ill.) - (10-3)
Last week: Lost to Mount Vernon High, 50-49.
Outlook: Cappie Pondexter led the team with 24 points but missed a last-second shot that could have won the game against Mount Vernon. Tiffany Sardin added 15 points in a losing effort.

No. 24 DeSoto HS (DeSoto, Texas) - (22-2)
Last week: Lost two of its three games, including a 58-37 drubbing by No. 12 Mansfield High.
