STOCK UP
Kenny Rogers is now 3-0 in the postseason with an ERA of 0.00 with Detroit's 3-1 win in Game 2 of the World Series. Tony LaRussa and the Cardinals got what they wanted, a split in the two games in the Motor City.
Tampa Bay's Matt Bryant hit a 62-yard field goal to give the Bucs a win over the Eagles. Lawrence Tynes hit one from 53 yards to give the Chiefs and upset win over the Chargers.
Clemson was very impressive in a 31-7 win over Georgia Tech. The Tigers held All-America receiver Calvin Johnson without a catch.
Rutgers showed it is for real with a win at Pittsburgh. Ray Rice ran for 225 yards for the Scarlet Knights.
Wisconsin is an impressive 7-1 on the gridiron after winning at Purdue by three touchdowns.
The Buffalo Sabres are off to an 8-0 start this season.
STOCK DOWN

The Jaguars got blown out by Houston. The Arizona Cardinals lost to the previously winless Raiders.
Detroit Lions defensive tackle Shaun Rogers received a four-game suspension for violation of NFL policy. He claimed it was because he used an appetite suppressant.
According to ESPN's Chris Mortensen, Shawne Merriman of the Chargers is also getting a four-game suspension for steroid use.
The Philadelphia Flyers have just one win in their first eight games. Bobby Clarke resigned as GM and Coach Ken Hitchcock was fired.
Northwestern had a 38-3 lead against Michigan State but lost 41-38. The Spartans had the biggest comeback in Division I-A history.
