STOCK UP

The New York Mets off to a great start, opening 9-2. David Wright is an outstanding third baseman and Willie Randolph's team looks like it will have a solid season.

The New Jersey Devils have a 10-game win streak and are peaking as the team heads into the playoffs.

The Detroit Red Wings are also hot, winning seven straight games.

Curt Schilling is 3-0 with a 1.64 ERA. All three of his wins have been by a 2-1 score.

Albert Pujols hit three home runs for the Cardinals Sunday in a win over the Reds.

Detroit Tigers first baseman Chris Shelton has hit eight home runs in his team's first 12 games.

The Bulls clinched a playoff berth by winning big in Miami Sunday. Scott Skiles' club always splays hard.

The Tampa Bay Devil Rays have won three in a row and have a better record than the Yankees!

STOCK DOWN

The Portland Trail Blazers are 1-17 in their last 18 games and have the fewest wins in the NBA, 21. This franchise has really slipped.

Tim Hudson of the Braves, usually Mr. Reliable, has a 9.20 ERA early.

The New York Rangers have lost four straight games and are slumping as the playoffs approach.

The Philadelphia 76ers failed to make the playoffs, even with Allen Iverson and Chris Webber.

New York Knicks guard Stephon Marbury has to grow up and stop whining and crying.
