Jimmie Johnson won the Daytona 500 for the first time in his career!
Nate Robinson won the slam dunk contest, including a great flying move over Spud Webb.
Shanni Davis won a gold medal in speed skating.
Andy Murray upset Andy Roddick and Lleyton Hewitt in consecutive days to win a tournament in San Jose. In that same event, John McEnroe and Jonas Bjorkman teamed up in doubles and won the championship as a wild card entry.
Gonzaga's Adam Morrison scored 37 of his 44 points in the second half in a win over Loyola-Marymount Saturday.
