STOCK UP: Pistons on a roll
Detroit Pistons — The Pistons have won 10 in a row, as the defending NBA champions seem to be peaking at the right time. Detroit edged Cleveland on Sunday.

Houston Rockets — The Rockets have won five in a row after blowing out red-hot Denver Saturday night. Jeff Van Gundy's team is on the verge of hitting the 50-win mark.

Los Angeles Dodgers — The Dodgers have won five straight, including a three-game sweep of the Padres where they outscored their California rival 18-3.

Justine Henin-Hardenne — She won the Family Circle Cup tennis tournament in just her second event back after injury problems.

STOCK DOWN: Yankees in last place
New York Yankees— The Bronx Bombers are 4-8 and tied for last in the AL East. The Baltimore Orioles swept them over the weekend.

Minnesota Timberwolves — The T'Wolves are out of the playoffs despite having a wealth of talent. I don't blame Kevin Garnett, who plays so hard night in and night out but it is disappointing after last season's success.

Cleveland Cavaliers — The Cavs could blow a playoff spot the way they are finishing and I don't blame LeBron James, who is playing his heart out.

Milan fans— There is no excuse for the type of behavior the fans exhibited by throwing a flare at an opposing goalie.
