STOCK UP: Patriots stop Manning, Colts
New England Patriots -- The Patriots' defense stopped QB Peyton Manning and the Colts. The NFL's most prolific offense was held to three points.

Donovan McNabb, Michael Vick -- These QBs led the Philadelphia Eagles and Atlanta Falcons to the NFC championship game.

Michelle Kwan -- Kwan won her ninth U.S. figure skating championship.

Vijay Singh -- Singh got back to the winner's circle by coming from behind to win the SONY Open.

Daniel Gibson -- The freshman guard scored 27 points and grabbed 10 rebounds in Texas' upset of Oklahoma State.

Boston College -- BC's men's hoop team remained unbeaten with a 20-point win at West Virginia.

STOCK DOWN: Kicking woes hurt Jets
Doug Brien -- The New York Jets' kicker missed a pair of field goals, from 43 and 47 yards, in the last two minutes of regulation against the Pittsburgh Steelers. Those misses cost the Jets a win at Pittsburgh ... sorry, Mike Greenberg!

Indianapolis Colts, St. Louis Rams -- The Colts were shut down by the Patriots, while the Rams were blown out by the Falcons.

NBA fighters -- Michael Olowokandi and Nene got into a fight that led to a four-game suspension for both.
