Mock Draft: After Carmelo at No. 3, it's a mystery

SPECIAL TO ESPN.COM

June 24
Figuring out the first three picks in the NBA draft is easy (Thursday, ESPN, 7 p.m. ET). After that, it's a crap shoot.

It should be interesting to see how it progresses. There are lots of talented players available and some solid depth. There is the influence of the international invasion -- you could see as many as 12 imports going in round one.

Lebron James
LeBron James led his high school, St. Vincent-St. Mary, to three Ohio state titles in four years.
For those who say they have this all figured out, get serious. There are trade rumors and last-minute adjustments.

Let the fun begin! Here is my best shot at the first round:

1. Cleveland -- LeBron James
2. Detroit -- Darko Milicic
3. Denver -- Carmelo Anthony
4. Toronto -- Chris Bosh
5. Miami -- Maciej Lampe
6. L.A. Clippers -- Chris Kaman
7. Chicago -- Dwyane Wade
8. Milwaukee -- Kirk Hinrich
9. New York -- T.J. Ford
10. Washington -- Jarvis Hayes
11. Golden State -- Reece Gaines
12. Seattle -- Nick Collison
13. Memphis -- Mickael Pietrus
14. Seattle -- Luke Ridnour
15. Orlando -- Michael Sweetney
16. Boston -- Marcus Banks
17. Phoenix -- Zarko Cabarkapa
18. New Orleans -- David West
19. Utah -- Aleksandar Pavlovic
20. Boston -- Sofoklis Schortsanitis
21. Atlanta -- Leandrinho Barbosa
22. New Jersey -- Zoran Planinic
23. Portland -- Travis Outlaw
24. L.A. Lakers -- Mario Austin
25. Detroit -- Travis Hansen
26. Minnesota -- Troy Bell
27. Memphis -- Josh Howard
28. San Antonio -- Ndudi Ebi
29. Dallas -- Zaur Pachulia
