New champ in town: Spurs

SPECIAL TO ESPN.COM

June 16
Dick's Stock Watch identifies whose stock is up and whose is down over the past week across the world of sports.

San Antonio Spurs -- A salute to the Spurs, the 2003 NBA champions. They have to be jumping with joy on the Riverwalk, baby! Tim Duncan is a winner who does everything well and in such an unassuming fashion. His teammates love him. Coach Gregg Popovich did a super job leading this team to the title. And David Robinson gets to retire as a champ.

Clemens
Clemens
Roger Clemens -- Clemens finally won his 300th game, getting a victory over the Cardinals on Friday night. His family was on hand and the Boss, George Steinbrenner, was on hand too, cheering!

Jim Furyk -- Furyk dominated the U.S. Open in winning his first major. He was simply too much for the competition.

Barry Bonds -- Bond has been on a tear, with five home runs in his past seven games. What a DH Bonds would be!

New York Yankees -- The Yankees were no-hit for the first time in 45 years. Six Astros' pitchers turned the trick, but then manager Jimy Williams' team was shut down, being swept at Fenway by the Red Sox!

Tony La Russa -- The St. Louis manager had a tough time in New York, as the Yankees swept a weekend series from the Cardinals.

Phil Mickelson -- Mickelson really struggled at the U.S. Open. He clearly played with no confidence and he shot nine-over-par in the final two rounds.
