Texas showed it deserves consideration for number one by blowing out Kansas. The Longhorns have outscored their opponents 128-14 over the last two games. Texas has scored under 40 once all season, 25 at Ohio State.
UCLA quarterback Drew Olson threw for 510 yards in a win over Arizona State.
Gilbert Arenas scored 43 points against the Spurs Saturday night.
Nathan Vasher of the Bears set an NFL record by returning a missed field goal 108 yards for a touchdown against the Niners Sunday.
STOCK DOWN
The Falcons lost at home to a Packer squad that came in with one victory.
The Hawks and Raptors are both 0-6.
Texas Tech football lost to a struggling Oklahoma State team.
