Player of the Day: Patrick O'Bryant, Bradley
He scored 28 big points, hitting 10 of 17 shots. The center also grabbed seven rebounds in 30 minutes in the upset of Pittsburgh.

Team of the Day: Georgetown Hoyas
John Thompson III has done a great job and his Hoyas sent No. 2 seed Ohio State packing. Roy Hibbert has really improved, highlighted by his double-double (20 points, 14 rebounds). Georgetown held Ohio State to 40.4 percent from the field.

Coach of the Day: Jim Larranaga, George Mason
Wow, what a tournament for the Colonial Athletic Association! The Patriots beat Michigan State, then North Carolina. Larranaga, the former Providence guard and Virginia assistant coach, got wins over Tom Izzo and Roy Williams. Quite a weekend, indeed!

Shock of the Day: George Mason over North Carolina
The Tar Heels raced to a 16-2 lead, but the Patriots never quit. The No. 11 seed is in the Sweet 16.

Diaper Dandy of the Day: A.J. Abrams, Texas
He came through with 16 points, hitting five of eight shots, while dishing five assists to give Rick Barnes' club a spark.
