Saturday Stars -- Missouri-Kansas City junior guard Michael Watson set a Mid-Continent Conference record with 54 points in a win over Oral Roberts on Saturday. Watson hit 19-of-35 shots from the field, including 10-of-22 from 3-point range.

LIU point guard Antawn Dobie had 53 points and 15 assists in a wild, 142-140 double-overtime loss to St. Francis, N.Y.

Chris Williams, Ball State and Chris Kaman, Central Michigan -- Last week, in the battle of the Chrises, Williams scored 44 while Kaman had 43 points, 12 rebounds and seven blocked shots as Central Michigan got the win.

Jay Smith -- The Central Michigan coach has the Chippewas leading the MAC West with an 11-3 conference mark (18-5 overall).

David Bennett, Marist -- The junior hit five 3-pointers and poured in 42 points in a win over Fairfield.
