TEAM OF THE WEEK: Wake Forest
Wake Forest won a couple of important ACC games. First came a hard-fought home victory over Duke at Lawrence Joel Coliseum. The Demon Deacons followed that up with a road win at Blacksburg over coach Seth Greenberg's improved Virginia Tech Hokies.

PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Ike Diogu, Arizona State
Junior forward Ike Diogu should be considered for national player-of-the-year honors. The Sun Devils' star posted big numbers last week. In a 74-67 win over Stanford, Diogu scored 39 points and grabbed 11 rebounds. In an 84-82 loss to California, Diogu scored 35 points, adding seven boards.

COACH OF THE WEEK: Bob Knight, Texas Tech
Knight has done a terrific job this season, and the Red Raiders look like an NCAA Tournament team. Texas Tech scored a big victory Saturday night at Oklahoma helped by 32 points from Jarrius Jackson. Knight continues to move closer to Dean Smith's career win record.

SHOCK OF THE WEEK: Iowa State over Texas
Yes, the Longhorns were without suspended P.J. Tucker and injured LaMarcus Aldridge, but the Cyclones dominated in overtime in Austin, a difficult place to play.

DIAPER DANDY OF THE WEEK: Al Horford, Florida
The son of former college standout Tito Horford, freshman forward Al Horford had a monster game in a blowout win over Alabama: 18 rebounds (nine offensive) and 14 points.
