SPECIAL TO ESPN.COM

PLAYERS OF THE WEEK:Will Daniels, Rhode Island
The 6-8 senior has been a big factor for Jim Baron's Rams. He averaged 26.5 ppg., grabbed 8.5 rpg. and shot 70 percent from the field (21-of-30) against Dayton and Duquesne.

COACH OF THE WEEK: Mick Cronin, Cincinnati

The Bearcats won just two Big East games last season. Cincinnati has shown signs of improvement. Not only have the Bearcats won at Louisville this season, but the team scored big victories over Syracuse and Villanova to earn Cronin my Coach of the Week honors.

TEAM OF THE WEEK:Florida

Billy Donovan lost an amazing amount of talent from the two-time national champions. The Gators are young, but they had a pair of impressive SEC wins. Florida started the week with a big victory at Alabama, followed by a double-digit defeat of Auburn.

DIAPER DANDIES OF THE WEEK: Jerryd Bayless, Arizona and Michael Beasley, Kansas State

Arizona went 1-3 in the four games Bayless was sidelined with a knee injury. Kevin O'Neill was thrilled to have his outstanding guard back and he delivered with 33 points, nine assists and five rebounds in a win at Houston.

Beasley continued his super season with a 32-point, 11-rebound performance in a win over Oklahoma. He also posted a double-double (25 points, 10 rebounds) earlier in the week against Savannah State.

SHOCK OF THE WEEK:Iowa over Michigan State

The Hawkeyes were coming off a 31-point loss to Ohio State. Todd Lickliter's team trailed 13-5 just nine minutes into the game before the Spartans really slid. Iowa outscored Tom Izzo's club 38-23 over the final 31 minutes of the contest. Drew Neitzel continued to struggle shooting the rock and the fans at Carver-Hawkeye were celebrating a major upset.
