Elite Eight Sunday Preview

SPECIAL TO ESPN.COM

Kansas vs. Davidson

Stephen Curry has been the story of the tournament so far. I cannot remember a player having a better three-game stretch in the tournament as Curry has enjoyed 30-plus point games.

Can Davidson become the third double-digit seed to make the Final Four, joining LSU (1986) and George Mason (2006)? You have to love the way the Wildcats have handled the ball, committing just 12 turnovers in the last two games.

This team is a lot more than just Curry. Bob McKillop's squad has one of the most underrated guards in the nation in Jason Richards. Guys like Thomas Sander and Andrew Lovedale have been important to the team's success up front.

Kansas has played as well as anyone in the tournament, with three convincing Ws. Bill Self is one step away from the Final Four.

The Jayhawks have the deepest perimeter lineup with Brandon Rush, Mario Chalmers, Russell Robinson and Sherron Collins. Up front, Darnell Jackson and Darrell Arthur are capable of scoring.

Davidson's dream will come to an end here.

Memphis vs. Texas

Both teams were so impressive in the Elite Eight.

I have not seen Memphis play better than it did in the first half against Michigan State. John Calipari's club shot over 62-percent and turned the ball over just three times in building up a 30-point lead.

Chris Douglas-Roberts and company will face a challenge against the Texas backcourt tandem of A.J. Abrams and D.J. Augustin.

I can assure you it will be physical up front. Joey Dorsey is going to be a force on the glass.

This has the potential to be a super showdown. The fact that it is in Houston is a plus for the Longhorns. I am really excited about this one, baby!
