SPECIAL TO ESPN.COM

PLAYERS OF THE WEEK:DJ Augustin, Texas and Stefon Jackson, UTEP

Augustin broke out of his shooting slump, totaling 46 points in wins over Texas A&M and Oklahoma.

Jackson totaled 69 points in wins over Marshall and East Carolina. When he put up 41 against the Pirates, he became the third Miner to score 40 points in a game, and the first since Antoine Gillespie netted 45 points against Hawaii on Feb. 17, 1994.

COACH OF THE WEEK:Bruce Pearl, Tennessee
His Vols went into Memphis and handed the Tigers their first loss of the season. Pearl felt that Memphis could not hit the trifecta for the entire game and sticking to the strategy paid off. After a blazing start, Memphis could not hit from long range as the Vols prevailed. Pearl has brought enthusiasm and excitement to the Tennessee men's basketball program.

TEAM OF THE WEEK:Miami-Florida
The Hurricanes moved back into NCAA tournament consideration with a pair of big ACC victories. Miami stunned Duke, 96-95, giving the 'Canes their first win over the Blue Devils in 45 years. Dwayne Collins scored a career-high 26 points in the stunner. Frank Haith's team then beat Maryland, 78-63.

DIAPER DANDY OF THE WEEK:OJ Mayo, USC

He totaled 53 points in wins over Oregon and Oregon State. Mayo was clutch from the foul line, hitting 11-of-13 in the win over the Ducks.

SHOCK OF THE WEEK:Oklahoma State over Kansas

Byron Eaton scored 26 points as the Cowboys knocked the Jayhawks out of a first-place tie in the Big 12. Sean Sutton's team entered the game with a 4-7 league mark but left with a 61-60 stunner.
