Great fun working on video game

SPECIAL TO ESPN.COM

Recently, I had a real blast working with Brad Nessler. We were locked up in a studio down in Sarasota, Florida, doing voiceover work on EA Sports College Basketball 2008.

It was excitement galore. Wow, I have really seen this game grow over the years. I am so proud to be a little part of it.

I have been truly amazed seeing how the behind-the-scenes people put this all together. Brad and I just have a blast, watching past games on a monitor and reacting to them. We try to be as creative and real as possible.

This year there is an added treat as Erin Andrews is on board as a sideline reporter on the game. We try to bring it to the fans like the real game on ESPN, baby!

EA Sports is the best in the business in creating these games. It is as real and live as possible and it's fun city to be part of this. It is amazing how it all happens, starting with the efforts of Sean O'Brien, the leader of the gang, and his associate, Rob Crang.

Many others contribute and their names aren't often mentioned. Novell Thomas did a super job as the producer. Mike Badalamenti, the owner of Audio Images, the studio where the voiceovers were done, made a big difference in the whole process. It is unbelievable to see how much work goes into putting everything together.

The 2008 game will value post play, showing how it creates opening up for the perimeter. It will really be exciting and I look forward to it hitting the stores later in the year.
