Robert Montgomery Knight tied Dean Smith on the all-time wins list at 879 as Texas Tech beat Bucknell.

The Chargers won their ninth straight game, rallying to beat the Seahawks.

Dwyane Wade's Christmas-day performance (40 points, 11 rebounds, four blocked shots) led the Heat to a win over the Lakers.

Hawaii quarterback Colt Brennan threw for 559 yards and five touchdowns as he set an NCAA record for touchdown passes in a season. Hawaii beat Arizona State in the Hawaii Bowl.

Florida sent a message loud and clear to the diaper dandies of Ohio State. The defending national champions beat the Buckeyes by 26.

Ben Howland's UCLA Bruins also said that they are for real by blowing out Michigan at Pauley Pavilion.
