Dick's Super Six Teams up front

SPECIAL TO ESPN.COM

December 7, 2006

When you look at the baselines in college basketball, is there anyone better than the trio that plays in Gainesville? When healthy, this is an experienced threesome in Joakim Noah, Al Horford and Corey Brewer (currently sidelined with mononucleosis). Coming off of last year's national championship run, the Gators have quite a group.

Really, Florida came out of nowhere last season, unranked in the preseason polls, yet by season's end the Gators cut down the nets. The trio has championship rings and all three are potential first-round NBA selections. It is all about talent, my friends. They are unselfish, they are physical and they play within the team concept.

Chris Richard comes off the bench and gives Billy Donovan's squad productivity when he is called upon.

There are a number of talented frontcourts across America. Here are my super six teams up front:

1) Florida. Noah, Horford, Brewer, Richard

2) North Carolina. Hansbrough, Terry, Wright, Stepheson, Thompson

3) Arizona. Radenovic, Williams, Budinger

4) Alabama. Davidson, Gee, Hendrix, Riley

5) Kansas. Arthur, Wright, Kaun, D. Jackson

6) Pittsburgh. Gray, Kendall, Young, Biggs, Cook (swingman)
